party time.

i walk in. I hear loud music playing from in the backyard. so that's where I go. Suddenly I see what looks like a million people. dang.

But out of those a million people...one stands out.

Jacob.

I snap out of my daze and I look for Olivia.

She has a big grin on her face and is holding hands with her boyfriend Brandon.

"Olivia!" I yell.

"Hey Brook!"

We hug.

"Happy Birthday!"

"Thanks. Is Ethan here yet?"

"No he's coming soon. He just got out of baseball practice."

"Oh, well make sure you introduce him to me when he comes!" She yells walking away.

"Okay!" I yell back.

I feel kinda alone.
Ally's not here.
Ethan's not here. (yet)

I would talk to Jacob but...you get it.

Oh and ashtins here too! Yay!
But Jacob doesn't even seem interested in her anymore. i don't know if im happy about that or not but whatev's.

I get a text.

Ethan: I'm here😌

I walk back inside and find Ethan.

"Brook!" He yells over the music.

I look around and he's right behind me.

"Oh hey!" I say hugging him.

"I'm gonna go find Ryan and Nick. I'll text you later." He says walking away.

Rude.

Well Ethan's here but he doesn't seem like he wants to hang with me.

A sit around and eat pizza. Then the music stops and someone starts talking.

"Heeeyyyy!! Everyone come outside to sing happy birthday to Olivia!!"

I walk outside and we sing.

Once were done I look around for Ethan. He hasn't texted me.
While I look for Ethan I see Jacob.
We lock eyes for a second and I turn around and walk inside as fast as I could.

I look behind me and he's following me trying to get through the crowd of people.

No no no! It feels like we're playing hide and seek tag. He found me and all he has to do is get to me.

I'm basically running around the house now.
It's not even amusing anymore.

Every time I look back it seems like he's getting closer and closer. God this is weird!!!

I'm walking too fast and accidentally bump into Olivia.

"Hey!"

"Hi Olivia.." I say trying to walk away.

"Are you having fun?" She asks.

I look around to see where Jacob is. Ughh this is crazy.

"Uhh...yeah.."

"Good! Only a couple of people, including you, are spending the night so it'll be great!!"

"Yeah I bet... Well... Gotta blast!🚀✌🏽️❤️" I yell practically running away.

"Bye Brook!!" She yells.

No!! Jacobs gonna know where I am since she yelled my name!!

I give up. It's inevitable now. I go sit on the couch.
I'm out of breath.

I sit there panting and I see Jacob walking to me.

I roll my eyes, mentally banging my head into a wall in my mind again.

He sits next to me.

He opens his mouth to talk.
