Chapter Eighteen:

~•Faint noises echoed in her ears, slowly waking up, well half awake already. Her eyes struggled to open, when they did everything was a blurry mess. Her sore eyes slowly started to focus, soon she could make out the clock on the nightstand. 4:15 a.m. She left out a tired breath, her whole body ached terribly. She sat up and rubbed her lower back when a heavy headache added to her discomfort. "Ah fuck..." She groaned holding her head and tried to ground herself "Ugh....I feel like shit..." She whined before feeling movement next to her, she froze for a moment startled at the sudden change. "Nnmm..." The moan caused her to glance over and see Key laying beside her with his arm slung over bare stomach. "K-Key?...." Why is he here? Why am I here? Where am I?? Questions kept popping into her head until she felt him move again, this time giving her a surprising view. Holy shit he's naked!! She quickly turned her head and jumped out of the bed stumbling over her feet. That's when she noticed "Holy shit I'M naked!!!" Key groaned again in response to her yell. It took a moment, then things started to click. And when they did she almost flipped out. No way....I didn't...!!

~•"Key! Breakfast is ready!" He flinched, the call almost making him jump. "Uggh..." He instantly felt the need to throw up as his stomach wouldn't stop turning and his head felt as if it would explode. "What the hell happened?..." He rubbed his temples before the answer hit him right in the face and he quickly sat up "Gina?..." He looked to his side but was greeted but wrinkled sheets. "Where did she–" "Key?! Are you awake?!" The voice called again and he quickly got up, grabbing his pants and headed down the hall. He heard pots clanking around and headed for the kitchen "Gi–" he stopped as the joy seemed to leave him in a second "Morning! Did you sleep well?" Skyler greeted him with a big smile that made him feel even sicker. "It's just you..." He made his disappointment clear with a snarl of disgust but she didn't seem to notice "Who else would it be?" The smell of burned food and gray smoke hung in the air "What are you doing?" "Making breakfast!" She cheered and he raised a brow "Why? You've never bothered to make breakfast before". He glanced over the counter and saw the black and chalky remains of what looked like pancakes. She couldn't cook for shit. "I know, but since I'm gonna be your wife in a few days, I thought I'd get my practice in." The smile on her face rubbed him the wrong way, not only that but she was way to happy, which only meant one thing. "Enjoyed yourself last night?" She looked up, clearly caught off guard by the question "W-What do you mean?" "I couldn't sleep last night, when I woke up I saw you weren't in bed. Then when I looked around I saw you weren't in the house at all. Where'd you go?" He already knew the answer, but wanted to give her a chance to tell the truth, to explain herself, to see if she really did care for him even a little bit. "Oh, a friend of mine called and invited me out, it was her last night in Korea before she went back home, so I had go." He chuckled a little "Yeah, alright." "By the way, when I came home this place was a mess." He rubbed his head as he made his way to the couch "Me and Gina were hanging out and had kinda of a rough night." "Gina??" Her face twisted "What was she doing here so late last night?" Key looked at her "Like I said, I couldn't sleep, and since you were nowhere to be found, I called her over to have a few drinks." She looked offended "You called her?!" Key grinned "What are you so upset about? She's just a friend."
