Chapter Twenty-Three:
~• Gina was dark place, her mind was black. She didn't know where she was but she knew how she got here. It was a cowardly attempt really, drowning herself in a tub. Not only that, but also cutting herself. Shame hung over her. She was hanging in between life and death and her mind was leaning toward death. Her body laid still but her mind raced, she knew it was up to her at this point. She could fight for her life and all the things she'd work for. Or let go and leave everyone behind, her friends, family, fans. The choice was hers. Key... His name still managed to pop up in her head even now. He was the reason she was laying here or at least part of it. It wasn't because he didn't like the suit, it was more than that. She was tired, tired of playing his games without getting any answers. Tired of pretending she was fine while her heart ached. Tired of suffering from her many years of despair. Key... He's kissed and slept with her and she still didn't know if he loved her. Her heart couldn't take anymore stress, neither could her mind. But regardless she still loved him. Kibummie....
~•*GASP* Gina's whole body jumped as if she had just woken up from a bad dream, her heart was beating out of control causing the monitor to beep at a rapid pace. She coughed as she struggled to breath. "Gina!" Key jumped from his seat, the noise waking him from his sleep "Gina!" He took her hand as she continued to gasp "It's ok! It's ok, I'm here!" He touched her face as she looked at him and her breathing started to slow. Nyla stumbled to them a second later with wide eyes "Gina-ssi?" "Got get the doctor." She nodded and ran out of the room. Gina's eyes refocused as she squeezed his hand "Key?..." He gave a soft smile as tears formed in his eyes "I'm here...."
~•After multiple tests and check ups the doctors ruled that Gina was fine. Her members came to visit her as soon as they could. They spent hours together as they tried to understand why she did such a thing and chose to keep her struggles a secret. All Gina could really do was apologize to them, for everything she put them through. It took time but Gina was soon well enough to leave the hospital. Fans were relieved to hear that their idol was doing well afterwards. She went back to her apartment where someone was always with her. Once schedules started to kick in both ElecTro and SHINee had to leave her side. Much to their displeasure, but Nyla agreed to stay with her. "You're boyfriend must hate me right now..." Gina sat at the table with her teacup in hand holding her head. "Ani~ He understands, plus you've done so much for the both of us." Gina sighed "But look what I've done to you...I'm sorry." Nyla gave a soft grin "I know, but that's over and done now. You're getting the professional help you need and now all you need to do is rest." Gina smiled back at her a little before looking down at her cup "Can I ask you something?" Nyla nodded as she took a bite of her waffles "Did....How long was Key at the hospital?" Nyla looked at her "Just as long as me, he stayed there all night for the whole week you were out. He missed schedules and other important meetings for his wedding and Skyler gave him an ear full. But he refused to leave until you woke up." She felt a small amount of happiness grow in her heart. She hadn't seen him since she woke up that night, to know that he spend all that time watching over her made her feel happy. Nyla wanted to tell her about what Key planned but he made her promise not to tell. For now all she needed to do was rest.
