Chapter Twenty-Four:
~•Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. Anxious fans were waiting for Gina's return to the stage and she was just as anxious. It was her first concert since the attempt that caused grief to a lot of people. That and she knew the focus would be on her regardless of the other members. "You feeling ok?" SoonHee rubbed her back and she smiled "Yeah, just nervous as always." "We're here behind you ok?" She nodded, she knew out of all members SoonHee felt responsible. She'd forced her to keep her constant struggles a secret from the others which she knew wasn't easy for her. "Unni?" She turned back to her and Gina have her a hug, which is something she hardly did. SoonHee looked down at her as she hugged back "Are you sure you're feeling ok?" She backed away with a smile "I'm great. Thank you for everything SoonHee" she still looked at her weirdly but smiled back.
~•The lights dimmed and the music started. Fans cheered in excitement as the girls waited under the stage. Gina stared at the floor trying to keep calm, she was close to throwing up. "Let's go!" Sori's words hit her ears as they sprung up from the stage causing an uproar of screams from fans. Multicolored light sticks waved in the air as they started their first set of songs. They performed with a lot of energy as well as receiving some from the crowd. When it was finally time for Gina's part the crowd gave an explosion of cheers and screams. It nearly brought her to tears as she tried to keep her tough face while singing. As they went on to sing two more songs she started to get a feeling that she hadn't felt in a very long time. Pure happiness. She would push herself through these concerts before without truly having fun. Seeing the crowd, being with her members again after such a long break, seeing them smiling and acting silly filled her heart with warmth. When the talk segment finally came they girls were sweaty and out of breath. "Annyonghaseyo~~!" They greeted the crowd with excited cheers in response. They introduced themselves one by one "Annyonghaseyo~Gyo Gina ibnida~" Everyone cheered including her members and all she could do was smile "Gina's back!" Nabi sung with a huge grin earning more cheers from the crowd. "Neh, first off I want to apologize-" the crowd quickly cut her off with shout of encouragement like; "No~!" "You don't need to apologize!" "We love you~!" "We're just happy your ok~!" All of which of course would bring her to even more tears "Don't make me cry it's too early for that~" she whined with a wavering voice as the others laughed at her Minseo rubbing her back. "Honestly, I'm sorry for making you all worry about me. I'm doing a lot better and I want to say thank you for sending me and the members love during our hard times. Thank you so much." They waved their light stick in response and Sori moved onto their next set.
~•With all the fun they were having, it had to come to an end. It was the end of the concert and and they'd just finished their last song, or so Gina thought. "Before we go, I think we should give Gina her present now." said Nabi bouncing around rather excitedly. Gina quickly became nervous "What present? You guys always give bad ones" the crowd laughed and Sori and the others gathered around her "You'll like this one. Are you guys ready?!" They shouted in response and suddenly music started playing "Gi-rin, me and the other members wrote this for you, it's something you can listen to whenever you're feeling down or lonely." Gina stood in the middle of them, as they started singing, after listening to the first few words she was already on the verge of crying. Once the whole stadium was covered in pink she broke out into a sob. The others followed soon after still trying to steady sing. They sung about how much they loved her, how important she was, and how having her with them made their days brighter. When the lyrics were finished music played at the end followed by fans holding up different colors of paper, forming a message reading: "WE LOVE GINA" She gave a smile through her tears and they all formed in a group hug. They cried together with fans cheering them on. Gina thanked them over and over again almost as many times as she's said I love you. Once they were done crying they joked around a bit leaving the ended the show on a happy note.
