Chapter Twenty-Two:
~• Within hours of Nyla calling 911, news that ElecTro's Gyo Gina had attempted suicide spread across the world. This came as a shock to fans that always saw her a the overly confident, energetic girly girl. It also shook her fellow members to the core, non of them besides SoonHee knew about her problems, and even she was stunned. She told them everything that happened in the past, after giving her reason for not telling them they understood but all of them felt a form of guilt for letting this happen. Though no one felt more guilt than Key. He'd started to think that insulting her life's work sent her over the edge. Onew had called him moments after she was brought to the hospital. The nine of them went to see her where Nyla was already by her bedside, her red eyes a result of constant crying. They all stayed there for hours until they eventually had to leave. Key and Nyla decided to stay for the night and the nurses brought in blankets for them. "I'm sorry you had to see her like this...." Key began to fill the silence "And I'm sorry about earlier..." They laid across the two sofas that were placed on each side of her bed. Nyla looked at him from across Gina's bed "Did you really not like the suit?..." She asked her voice still sore from crying "Gina-ssi spent a lot of time on that tux, since it was for you she wanted it to be perfect...." He chuckled lightly "I know, I really did like it." Nyla sat up with a twisted expression"Then why did you tell her you hated it? She wanted to do right by you and you crushed her!" Key gave her a tired look "Don't you think I know that?" He didn't have the strength to put up a fight and he knew she didn't either "No matter how much guilt everyone claims they feel, it all comes back to me. I know this is my fault." Nyla could hear his voice waver a little and she laid back down "Why did you lie to her?" Key let his head rest against the arm of the chair "Because I love her. I want to be with her, but I'm stuck in a relationship with someone that doesn't give two shits about me." "Why don't you just call off your engagement then?..." He sighed "Because the reason behind it isn't good for our image, especially Gina's. She'll get much more hate than I would, and I knew she wouldn't be able to handle it. If I'm going to break things off I've got to do it the right way. But I didn't have a lot of time to spare so-" "So you told her you didn't like it to delay the wedding..." He was quiet for a while "Yeah...and now she's laying in a hospital bed after flatlining twice trying to cling to life...." He sniffed "And it's my fault." She could hear him break out into full out sobbing and rose to her feet. He heard her footsteps and looked up at her as she gave a sad smile before giving him a tight hug. Key hugged her back as he continued to sob, letting all of the emotions he'd built up out
