Chapter Thirty:
~•"Ugghh..." Gina let out a loud sigh, possibly too loud, as she stood at the bar waiting for her second drink. She did even know why she was there. Key called her a few days ago to invite her his pre wedding party. She declined at first, for one she didn't want to be in the same room as the witch Skyler and second she was still mad at him for what he pulled at the cafe. She'd ignored his calls before but for some reason answered that day, maybe because she missed his voice. He told her that she was going to miss the big surprise he had for her. She had no idea what he was talking about but since SHINee, her members, his family and other close friends were going, she figured it would be rude not to go. "There you are." A voice hit her ears and a hand on her lower back caught her attention "I was almost afraid you wouldn't come" Key's soft face came into view as he leaned on the counter "I didn't want to." She scrunched her nose and he tilted his head "Why not?" "Because I'm mad at you." She said sternly giving him a look met with confusion. "What did I do?" "Don't act like you don't know! I saw you!" She yelled a little louder than she would have wanted. Key glanced around making sure they did draw any attention before looking back at her with a furrowed brow. "What are you talking about Gina?" She rolled her eyes with a scoff "Forget it." "Here's your drink ma'am." The bartender slid it to her and she gave a quick smile before bringing it to her lips. Finishing in one go. Before she could ask for another she felt herself being dragged through the sea of people. Key pulled her into a private section of the bar and released her wrist "What are you so worked up about?" "I saw you at the cafe Key." She folded her arms "Cafe??" "Neh! With that girl laughing it up like you were having the time of your life! Then I saw you leave with her!!" He kept this dumb expression before it hit him "Ooooh, you mean the girl in the black dress?" "Yes!" She glared at him and he laughed "I think you need to wait and see you're surprise" he held her shoulders as she continued to glare at him. He lead her out toward the room full of people once again. "After all, this party is for you more than me. For the both of us." He gave her a quick peck on the cheek before disappearing into the crowd of people.
~• At least another hour went by before something actually happened. "Excuse me!" A voice called everyone's attention as Gina joined her members near the small stage. The SHINee members were there too, they seemed kind of off though. They were gathered at the stage before everyone else and kept smiling at each other. Her members were acting a little strange too. Giving her rather large grins, it was creeping her out. "Thank you all for coming!" She looked back up at the stage to see the girl from before. What's she doing here?? Did Key invite her?! She scrunched her noses little "As you all know we're here to celebrate the engagement of my brother and Skyler!" Brother?! Wait, is she his... She saw Key on the side of stage grinning at her as she felt stupid. She looked back at his sister with a red face. "Please welcome the couple!" Everyone clapped as the two mad their way on stage. Key stood there silently as Skyler waved and smiled as photographer took pictures. "Now I know we're all anxious to get the night started so let's-" *Click* Everything when dark as people started to look around, confused. Gina instantly got scared "What's going on??" "It's ok" Oka-San took her hand "Just stay calm."
