Chapter Twenty-One:
~•With Gina going home early Nyla had to lock up. As she turned the key in the lock she couldn't shake what she saw earlier. The cuts in Gina's wrist haunted her and had her in a constant state of worry. As she walked home she had a funny feeling in her gut, it was almost making her sick. Unable to fight it she turned around and pulled out her phone, calling her boyfriend "Hey, what's up?" "Hi hon, I'm gonna be home late tonight" she could basically hear her boyfriend pouting "Why? It's date night" "I know I'm sorry. I'm gonna go to Gina-ssi's place to check on her." "Is something wrong?" "I don't know, but I've got a bad feeling." "Be careful ok, if you need me call me." She smiled "I will, love you too~bye."
~•It was a long walk but Nyla eventually arrived at Gina's apartment. She took a moment to catch her breath as she found the number "206, this must be it." She knocked on the door and waited for a response but one never came. She knocked again "Gina? It's Nyla!" her call went unanswered, becoming more worried she tried the handle and to her surprise it was unlocked. She stepped inside and the atmosphere only added to her concern. "Gina?" It was quiet, the lights were off and she could hear water running. "Gina-ssi?" She called again as she walked further into the apartment. It was cold as she looked around and set her bag down near the kitchen. As she peeked down the hall she saw a single light on. The scene gave her chills, it was like seeing something straight out of a horror movie. "G-Gina?...are you in there?" Still no answer. She came closer to the door as the sound of water became louder. The bathroom door was cracked and as she pushed it open she saw a layer of water covering the floor. "What the..." She pushed the door open more and followed the trail to bathtub. Pulling back the shower curtain she saw Gina, her body under water, her wrist cut deeper all the way up her arms leaving a trail of blood.
