Chapter Thirty-Two:
•~A few days went by with out hearing a word from Key. Gina was worried she could only imagine how much pain he was in. She did just want to sit around, she wanted to see him. Spending another evening sitting around her apartment eating like a starving child, she counted down the hours before she could go back to bed and sleep everything off. As she made her way to her bedroom a buzz stopped her in her tracks. She whined a little picking up and sitting on her bed "Hello?..." She sighed rubbing her tired eyes. "Hey." She jerked leaving a rather long silence "Key??" "Who else would call you this late? Are you busy?" She heard a smile in his voice as she tried to find her words "N-No, I was just gonna go to bed." "Come to my place, you can sleep here." She raised a brow "Why now?" "I want to show you something."
~•She arrived at his house feeling a little uneasy. She wasn't sure what she'd say to him, after what happened the other night she still didn't know how to react. Before she could knock the door opened Key looked back at her "I had a feeling you were here. What are doing standing out there? It's cold at night." She stood there staring at him, words leaving her "I-I..." He took her hand and pulled her inside closing the door behind her. She followed him to the living room where she saw boxes of clothes stacked up against the couch. She stopped "Are you moving?" Key looked back at her still holding her hand. "Oh, that's Skyler's things." She looked at him as he stared back at her "Minus all the things I bought her." He gave a silly grin and Gina frowned "Key? Are you alright?" "Yeah, why?" He looked at her with a normal expression "I-It's kinda weird that you're acting like this after you found out your fiancé screwed you over. Aren't you hurt or at least scared after watching that video?? I know I am." She shivered and he snickered "Why would I be? I told you before that my feelings for her were long gone." Gina blinked "But..." "Just come on." He pulled her toward the bed room and she followed. She walked into his familiar bedroom as she tried to shake the memories from her head. He sat on the bed picked up the remote turning on the TV "Watch." Gina did as he said and looked at the screen and the new anchor gave her late night greeting.
"In Breaking News tonight; SHINee's Key engagement party gets crashed. Thousands of reports from paparazzi and attendees of the party describe the incident as something out of a movie. It's said that during the congratulation speech, which was given by Key's sister, the room suddenly when dark. A voice suddenly came on over the speakers while also hacking into the main computer. It was then that video of the well known actress Skyler, Key's fiancé, performing multiple sexual acts with unknown men was played in front of guests and also posted online hours later. Many were appalled at the actress and photo and video of her behavior at the party have also been going around social media. Fans of Key were outraged and showed their hatred for Skyler vividly in more ways then one. Her company has also dropped her from their label to avoid tarnishing their reputation. As for Key, his guest recall him leaving the venue with a look of heartbreak on his face after the video. Since then he's called off his engagement and has stayed out of the public eye. SHINee and ElecTro who also attended the party aren't making any comments about the party, only that they will continue to be there and support Key. The party crasher is still unknown. The sound cute off as key hit the mute button. Gina continued to look at the silent screen as Key waited for her next words. "I don't understand..." She turned to look at him "Why did you want me to see this?" Key rose to his feet "Because, I wanted you to see how well my plan worked out." She blinked "Plan? You planed this?? All of it??" He friend a little "Yup, I actually surprised myself" he looked back at the TV screen and Gina furrowed her brow "But, why? Why did you go through all that trouble??" "I've been wanting to break up with Skyler since the first time I caught her cheating. But I knew if I just broke things off with that she'd deny it and play the victim. She's an actress after all. So I needed a better reason, and when I saw you for the first time after so long it hit me. I wanted you. And lucky for me you wanted me too." He smiled at her "Then why didn't you just break things off after you slept with me??" "You would have looked like a slut." She jerked "What?" "If I would have broken off my engagement to be with someone else I would have been a cheater and you a slut. I didn't want that. So I stayed with her until I could get something to back it up. I also put you through a lot of pain and I'm sorry. But I plan to make it up to you if you'd let me." He took her hands in his and she looked at him "So...it's just us now?" He nodded "We'll have to be discreet in the public eyes but it's just you and me now." She smiled a little before it grew into a big on "And...you can also stay here. That way you won't feel lonely ever again. What do you say Princess?" She giggled and put her arms around his neck pulling him closer as his arms quickly hugged her waist. "Sounds like fun."
