(The living room where they have meetings)
Helene and Hatesth walked over to a couch, and they sat together.
"What is it Hatesth?" Helene asked.
"It's just that I'm stressed." He answered.
"About what?" She asked.
"It's because of...." He paused.
"Because of what?" She wanted to know. "Sighs" Hatesth all does.
"You won't understand, because you're not my mother, only my mother would understand." He said and was out of the room as quick of a blink of an eye.
"How did Hatesth move so quickly like that?" I asked Drake.
"Uh, Emily it was probably just your imagination." He said chuckling. I folded my arms and looked right straight in his eyes that made him stop chuckling, and got serious.
"I understand you want to know the truth but you won't believe me." He said in a voice like he was trying to be serious.
I wasn't buying it, and I left the room also.
"Hey wait!" He said, catching up with me, and touched my arm.
"Stop it Drake!" I yelled, and I pulled my arm out of his touch.
"Emily," He said calmly. "It's not what you think." he tried explaining.
"What do you mean?" I asked more quietly than yelling.
"Have you ever though that vampires weren't real?" He asked.
"I always did believe that vampires weren't real." I replied.
"Well, you're wrong." He said, like blowing the news right up in my face, and came closer to me. I back away from him.
"You mean, you're a v-va-a-mpi-ir-e?" I shuddered coldly, sort of letting my guard down when he came closer.
"Yes I am, my whole family is also." He answered, coming closer to me until he was right in front of me. I shook my head saying no way that he wasn't what he said he was, but he was shaking his head meaning that he was what he was saying.
"Then why didn't you suck my blood?" I asked almost shockingly. I never thought I'd end up seeing a vampire in my life and meet one face to face.
"Emily, what you're seeing right now is all true." He said pulling my hair back behind me. We were in the dark hallway and I didn't know what he was doing until I felt his cold lips on my neck. Helene came out in the hallway.
"Drake!" she called, Drake immediately took his lips off my neck and just stood there. "What on earth are you doing?" she asked, she didn't wait for him to answer and told him to come back in the living room.
"Do you need me?" I asked.
"No, Emily, just Drake." she quickly answered and closed the door after Drake entered the living room and I was left in the dark hallway.
I started walking in the hallway going back and fourth trying to find exit so I could find some light. As I was pacing back and fourth, I felt my body run into someone. But I couldn't see who it was.
"Emily." The person I ran into said.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"That doesn't matter right now." The man's voice was deep and he didn't sound like Hatesth, besides Hatesth is in such a bad mood to even talk to anyone, so I knew it wasn't him.
"Emily, take my hand." The man said. I took my hand in his and I followed him out of the hallway. We were in one of the living rooms of the Genova's castle. The man's eyes were covered by his cloak and I could only see his nose and mouth.
