(Hospital)

(Wednesday) Morning of Oct 23. Two weeks and six days later.....

I wake up finding myself in a hospital bed. Weird. I look around and find a clock that says five twenty-one am. It's morning, and I'm in a hospital not knowing what is happening. I try to get out but I soon find out my arm is connected to an IV with other stuff around my arm and what not.

I look down at the IV that is in my right arm and I lay my head back on the pillow, and sighing after that. I'm not saying I'm afraid of shots, but it's annoying, I can tell you that for one thing. I never thought I would live to see the day when I was hospitalized in a bed with an IV injected into my arm. So odd. What day is it? How long have I been out?

Great, now the questions start coming into my head. At least I'm still alive. Did Drake follow my directions? I don't know, at least I haven't been turned into a vampire because if I did, then I wouldn't be lying in a hospital bed with an IV stuck into my arm. I think I'll just fall back to sleep and wait until the sun rises.

(Forty-one minutes later, Oct 23)

I wake up and find a nurse in the room checking the monitor and then she notices me awake. "Miss Martin, how are you feeling?"

"Good, can you tell me what happened?" I answered.

"Maybe later, but right now you need to rest." She replied.

"Okay." I agree. She is right, I do need rest, I have a long way to go to recover. She finishes up checking up the moniter and then leaves the room.

I lay my head back down and I start thinking if I am back in Chicago or still in New York. I would look out my window and see, but I have an IV stuck in me, so I can't at the moment. I keep myself laid in the bed for a while until I hear the door open. The same nurse comes in along with a man in a white coat who I guess is the doctor.

"Miss Martin, I hear you're doing good, I'm just here to check on you in person." The doctor says.

"Please, I want some answers." I said.

"I know you want answers to your questions, but you need to let your body give a rest for a while. It will be a few days before you can walk." He tells me.

"Just tell me if I am in Chicago or New York?"

"You're still in New York," He responds. "Now if you have anymore questions, I will have to answer them later. I want to make sure your body is healing right now." He started to turn around to leave.

"What about Mrs. Kya? Did she and two other people perform the surgery?" I ask before the doctor got to the door.

The doctor turns around, facing back to me, "Yes, she did along with your two teachers, Mrs. Thompson, and Mr. Adison. Why do you ask?"

"I was just wondering, thank you for answering, you can leave now." I answer back and the doctor leaves the room with the nurse tagging behind him.

After staring at the celling for a couple of minutes, I decide to go back to sleep, until I hear the door open once more. Okay, now what is it? I slightly lean up from my bed, though the pain in my stomach is still bugging me.

A different nurse comes in with a breakfast tray and sets it on the exceptional table that goes over the bed. He moves the table carefully over to my bed and sets it in front of me.

"I bet you're hungry." He says.

"Thank you." I reply back with a smile.

The nurse leaves closing the door behind him on his way out. I began eating the scrambled eggs that were given to me, and I open my yogurt that also came with it. I feel lonely. It sure is quiet in here, too. I wish I wasn't so lonely in here. I wonder when patients are allowed to get visitors.
