(Emily's bedroom 2)
"Are you alright?" Helene asked me rushing over to me.
"He bit me again." I replied lifting up my right arm that revealed two red marks.
"Now what are we going to do?" Richard asked. "She can't be left in alone in a room all by herself." He said.
"How did Sarage get past my force field?" Helene asked her husband.
"I think what happened was that Sarage never left the mansion." Drake explained to his mother.
"You mean when he first was here when he bit Emily for the first time?" She said.
"Yeah, I'm kind of thinking that's what happened." He said.
"Oh great, now Sarage could be anywhere in this mansion and Sarage is able to make his sent smell invisible, like he's not in here, though I think he is but I'm not sure." She said.
"Emily," Richard said. "Come with us." He said.
"No, she can stay here, I'll stay and keep watch." Drake offered. And I started blushing, I tried hiding my face but Drake noticed it already. "You're blushing." He said and his eyes widened. Richard, Helene and Destroth all turned their faces toward me. This is really embarrassing.
"You guys can stop now." I said. They stopped looking at my blushing face and I was able to stop making myself feel embarrassing in front of the Genova's.
"So what are the plans?" Destroth asked Richard and Helene.
"Well, hopefully our plans are that Emily is in a room with someone twenty-four/seven, and that we can find Sarage before he can hit on Emily again." Helene replied.
"Now, we better be going now, we'll leave you to it, Drake." Richard said heading for the door.
"Drake, be careful." Helene said, and hugged Drake one more last time before they left.
"Bye Destroth." Drake waved before Destroth was out of my bedroom.
"Bye," He waved back to Drake and then closed the door behind him.
"Well, we're alone now." Drake said, going over to my bed and sat at the end of the bed.
"So we're still not friends?" I asked.
"Nope." He answered laying back in my bed and putting his hands under his head like a pillow, looking up at the ceiling just as if he were look up at the stars, at night.
"Then why did you offer to keep a watch on me?" I asked.
"Because I knew no one else would want to," he answered as he closed his eyes.
"Are you going to sleep already?" I asked seeing his eyes were closed.
"No." He responded, not moving. "I'm just resting my eyes." He replied.
"You know, you're supposed to keep an eye on me so I don't get bitten by Sarage again, and I know you don't want that to happen." I said looking at his adorable face, too bad we can't be friends. "And when you said keep a watch on me, you have to watch me." I said.
"Really?" He asked opening one eye and saw me looking at him. And I leaned back away from his face. He sat up in my bed. "What do you want to talk about?" He asked. "I know there's something you're hiding from me." he added smiling.
"Then if you know, why do you have to tell me?" I asked sitting next to him at the foot of the bed.
"Just trying to start a conversation, so it won't be so boring in here." He said, leaning close into me. I stayed perfectly still, not moving an inch as he leaned in closer, almost touching our lips, but then he backed away.
