(Cleo's living room)
(Wednesday morning) Sep, 25.
I sit up in bed, and it's morning. I'm so happy, tonight is the dance. Though, I'm not sure if Drake will still want to dance with me. I get out of bed and I head down stairs, feeling a little lonely because Drake isn't here.
I make myself breakfast, and I head back upstairs to take a shower afterwards.
I get out, and I get dressed. I put on a light blue blouse and some pair of dark blue skinny jeans. I put on my dark brown boots and I brush out the tangles in my hair. I braid my hair in one braid and then I put it up into a bun. I think it looks great.
I add a couple of bobby pins to keep the hair up longer. I brush my teeth and I head downstairs.
I grab my purse and house keys. Before I leave I call up Cleo that I will be heading to her house. She says it's okay. When I hang up, it's ten twenty-four am. I still have some time, so call Mike and tell him that I might not dance with him. He says it's fine if we don't dance, he says he's happy for me and then hangs up before I can say anything back.
I wonder if he's just saying that and he doesn't want me to go with someone else to the dance. I wondered. I look at the clock again and it's ten twenty-six. I need to be going.
I lock the door behind me and I walk to Cleo's house. Luckily, her neighborhood is next to mine.I check the road for any cars before crossing the road. I don't want to get hit by a car again, because last time I ended up meeting vampires, but very nice vampires.
I arrive at Cleo's house and I ring the door bell. Cleo opens the door and hugs me.I hug her back. It's so good to see her again. She let's me inside her house and we go into her white living room. "Cleo, will you be able to go to the dance?" I asked concerned. Her smile fades away and turns to a frown. "I can't go, I still have to heal, darn it!" She answers stubborned about the new plans. "I wish I could go. Robert isn't going to have anyone to dance with, this is terrible."
I hug my friend to calm her down.
"I will tell you everything, the people who are going to be there, the theme, and what drama comes up." I said.
"Okay, but remember, it has to be everything, okay?" She said making sure I understood her correctly.
"I know," I nod. "I'll even take pictures and videos for you." I added.
"Okay, Emily, well I guess you should be going eh?" She asks sadly along with a frown.
"Yeah." I answered back. I hug her one more last time and then I leave. It's still a little too early to start helping the school with the decorations and theme.
Maybe I should head back home? I asked myself. I hear a car coming up from behind me and I recognize it as Ryuichi's car. His car slows down once his car is slowly driving next to me.
"Want to head to the Genova mansion?" He asked me."Sure." I answered. I go around the car to the passenger's side. He drives up to the normal sped limit, once I get in and close the door.
"I heard that Drake was a little off last night." He said as he turned a right.
"Yeah, I don't know what is up with him, he just got mad all of a sudden and we were having a good time." I said sighing, remembering his harsh tone towards me from last night.
"Do you know why he is acting like this?" I asked.
"Yeah, it has to do with us vampires," Ryuichi replied. "My brothers and I will not be at school tomorrow." He added.
