Malevolent or Virtuous?

Chapter XIX

(Emily's dinning room)

(Sunday) The next morning...... Sep, 22.

I wake up and it's six thirty-eight am. I get out of bed and go downstairs to make myself breakfast. I smell bacon and scrambled eggs, and hear it sizzling in the pan coming from the kitchen. When I enter the kitchen, I see Ryuichi cooking bacon and scrambled eggs in two separate pans.

"Hey sleeping beauty." He says as he flips the bacon.

"Drake told me that vampires never eat breakfast is that right?" I asked remembering what he said.

"I'm not going to be eating breakfast, I made it for you, and only you." Ryuichi replies.

"And didn't you say you would be home at ten last night?" I asked.

"I did, but I came back." He answered smiling as he stirred the eggs.

"What time?" I questioned him.

"I woke up at five O' clock and arrived here at five twenty." He said as he laid the bacon on a clean plate and turned off the burner.

"But didn't you say that it takes you three hours to drive from your house to the school?" I asked, because it would still take him three hours to get to my house since it is close to the school.

"I never said it took me three hours to get to the school or your house, but I did say, that I live two to three hours away from the school." He explained as he scraped the scrambled eggs out of the pan and turning off the burner.

He took both of the plates over to the table, he set the scrambled eggs and bacon down at the table. I got two plates from the cabinet and silverware. I set the plates and silverware on the table.
I seat myself next to he. I filled my plate and started eating.

"Hmm." I said after taking a bite of bacon. The bacon is greasy and really good.

"You like it?" He asked, as he started cleaning the pans.

"I don't like it, I love it." I say and start eating my scrambled eggs. "I'm really glad you like it." He smiles.

I'm soon done with breakfast and I head upstairs to take a shower.

I wear a red shirt and white shorts. I brush my teeth and my hair. I decided to do a side braid with my hair. I rub lotion on my arms and legs. I go downstairs and put on white my flip-flops.

"I think we should stay at Cleo's house for the whole day, since I don't have anything planned for today." I suggested.

"Sure, that'll be great." Ryuichi agrees, as he puts the pans away.

I get my house key and we leave the house.

As we're driving to Cleo's house I call her and tell her that we're heading to her house right now. She is happy and says she will be ready when we get to her house. We say goodbye to each other and then hang up.

"How long will it take for Cleo's head to heal?" Ryuichi asked me as we turned into Cleo's neighborhood.

"The nurse said a week." I answered.

"Do you think she will be able to go to the dance?" He asked.

"I don't know, it depends how she's feeling and if she is alright about going." I answer and we pull into Cleo's driveway.

We got out of the car and knocked on her door. Her mom opened the door and let us in.

"Cleo told me she had some friends coming over, she's upstairs at the moment, but she should come down in just a few seconds." Her mom says closing the door behind us.
