Chapter 36 : Grapefruit & Broccoli
****"You tell me something I don't know about you, it could be true it could be false, I have to guess which one it is. If I'm wrong, you have to give me a dare and I must do it. But if I'm right, I'll dare you to do something and you must do it. And it's the same with you." Tyler explained. I was intrigued by the idea of this game, but it seemed like it could have got interesting.
"Ok, let's do this." I answered trying to sound daunting.
"Ok. You first." Tyler yelped.
I was thinking for something to say for a moment and then began to speak as soon as I thought of one. I began to speak.
"I may or may not have been sky diving before." I cracked a small smile, but continued with just a straight face.
"Damn. Your good at this. Umm. I don't know. Knowing that you climb of the wall the apartment complex, six floors from the ground, I'll say yes."
He was right. It was in grade 9 when I went sky diving. It was a blast.
"Sorry no your wrong." I said as Tyler frowned.
"Just kidding, your right." I admitted. I could tell he was happy he got it right. Now comes the dare for me.
"Grace, Grace. I dare you to climb a tall tree to the top, and act like a monkey."
What the f am I going to do? I'm going to look so stupid! I thought to myself. I knew I had to do it since I'm participating in this game, so I got myself up from the ground, and searched for the tallest tree I found closest to us. Tyler followed form behind and stopped once I started to climb a tree. It was easy for me, I don't know why, especially since I've never climbed a tree before.
It only took almost 2 minutes to do it, and once I got to the top, I clenched a strong branch I knew wouldn't break, and started hanging from it. I started making weird ass noises, trying to sound like a monkey as Tyler continued to laugh at me repeatedly. Once I was done with the embarrassment, I climbed back up to the tree trunk and started climbing back down.
This is going to be a fun and long night, I thought to myself as I kept a smile on my face.

It was already an hour of playing the game so we decided to stop. We learned a lot about each other, mostly embarrassing stuff. And I got some embarrassing videos of Tyler doing dares I made up, mostly stupid dares. You'd expect Tyler to take me on a fancy date, but I'm happy that we had fun tonight instead of having to act all proper and fancy, cause man, I'm way too lazy to do all of that.
One thing I've learned from tonight, is that Tyler especially hates, like especially HATES, broccoli and grapefruits. Why? I really don't know why, but because I know that, it may be useful in the future, if you know what I mean, if you don't, its for pranks. It would be so funny to see his reaction to eating grapefruit or broccoli, I was imaging it, and the face he would've have was priceless.
We just sat against a tree and looked behind up at the stars, now beautiful they are. Man, I'm lucky to have met Tyler, he really changed me.
