The next few days go by uneventful, Crow mostly resting and me hunting for the both of us.
Crow revealed that he had been ridiculed for his crooked tail. He left his pack to escape their bullying when he was attacked by the same puma that attacked me. He too met the little grey pup, and she healed his tail.
"At the time I didn't know why she didn't heal my side too, but now I do. And I'm glad" he had said, grinning at me softly.
"Why?" I asked perplexed.
"Because otherwise I wouldn't have met you" he said.
Our eyes met, mine I'm sure holding shock.
Then, tentatively I slide closer to him, snuggling into his side.
"I'm glad too" I say softly.
Crow rests his muzzle on top of my head and we lay like that for a long time.Nuuuu, please don't kill me Beasties.
