The night after the meeting with the actors, Charles went to my room. He looked miserable compared to the last time he went to my room which was his date with Amanda. I wondered what happened. I was lying on the couch watching TV. Charles teased me by attempting to sit on my belly but I shoved his butt and he lost control so he fell on the floor. We laughed so hard I could feel my stomach linings contracting. I then folded my knees to my chest so he could sit closer to me. When he sat, he tried to play the Seducing Game. Basically, the ones involved just had to be seductive to the other doing actions like lip biting, lip licking, winking, and eyebrow rising. The one who stopped seducing first loses the game. Charles winked at me first and then I responded by raising my left eyebrow twice. Charles then did the Justin Bieber pose like the one when you raise both eyebrows and squint your eyes to the point that you look like you just woke up and the sun was eye-blindingly bright. He actually looked funny and I couldn't help but laugh. But there's no way I was losing. I looked down, gathered my composure, looked back at Charles and did a lip bite, all in two seconds. And that was when Charles lost. He kept turning his head back and forth on me while laughing all the way. I did another lip bite to make him more uncomfortable. He laughed even harder.
"God, I look disgusting doing a lip bite," I said while laughing at myself.
Charles then disagreed, "No you look hot actually." He totally caught me off guard and I hit him with a pillow. I asked him what happened with Amanda a while ago and it turned out that Amanda shouted at him. That freaking bitch.
"She said I was suffocating her because I kept on following her," he said.
"What does that supposed to mean? She was the one who summoned you a while ago."
"Well that was because she asked me to compile some things and highlight some scripts."
"All by yourself?" My blood started boiling.
"Well she went to do something important. But I did that to make up for my short-comings and mistakes."
I narrowed my eyebrows and asked Charles, "What exactly were your short-comings, Charles? Attending to her needs?" I rolled my eyes. This bitch was totally using him.
He defended, "Well, I was being too clingy. And it was a mistake."
"Then why did she shout at you?" I asked.
"Well, I stopped for a while to call you. I was almost done highlighting the script. I didn't know she needed it at that instant. And then she arrived with the script that wasn't done yet. I begged her to forgive me and I suggested that I would go with her to finish highlighting. That's when she told me to leave her alone because I was being too clingy."
I couldn't stand listening how Amanda was using Charles. I got up and went to the kitchen to get something to drink.
Charles then continued, "I guess girls don't like it when men are being clingy." I just looked at Charles as I sipped my drink and just raised my eyebrows implying that I sort of agreed with him. I didn't want to fight him anymore. Few minutes later, I told Charles that I wanted to hit the bed because I had a tiring day and the next day would be just the same.
The following day, I was up and ready for the first practice. I needed to put on a fake smile if I wanted all of this to work out. I was accompanied by Charles on my way to the room. We were laughing at something that I hadn't noticed Julia standing in front of us. Charles politely greeted Julia. Afterwards, he looked at me and bade goodbye. He squeezed my hand which I forgot was glued to his all this time we made our way to the rehearsal room. Julia and I looked at him go.
