She What?!

Selena POV: 

School is finally over so now I can see Justin. Also I'm happy I can get away from River. All he do is talk about other girls he has been with, trying to make me jealous. I would ask him to change the subject but he would just say, "What, are you jealous?" Like no, I'm just irritated. 

I walked into Justin's house. It was quiet. I know his mom is home. 

"Justin." I sat my bag down by the door then walked into the kitchen. 

Pattie wasn't even in the kitchen. I walked up to his room. He wasn't in there, so I decided to go to the basement. 

"Justin." I said once I was down there. 

"In here!" He yelled. 

I walked into the game room. 

"Hey. What you doing." I sat next to him. 

"I'm playing Halo 5 and eating ice cream." Halo 5! 

"Can I play?!" Me and Justin have been wanting this game since it came out. "

Yea, grab a controller." He paused the game. 

I grabbed the other controller and we began the game. We were playing in silence util I thought about it, where did he get this? He can't leave the house. It's not even in stores and I know he doesn't have a credit card. 

"Hey, Justin?" He was pretty focused into the game. 

"Hm?" He hummed, never taking his eyes off of the screen. 

"Where did you get this game?" I asked. 

"Gabby bought it for me." He said, absentmindedly. I paused the game. 

"She did what?" I raised an eyebrow. 

"She bought the game for me, along with the new Call of Duty, and this ice cream." He held up the empty ice cream container. 

I stood up and in front of him. 

"Why was she here in the first place?" I was getting angry. 

I put my hands on my hips. 

"She came to give me company." He looked up at me, confused. 

"How?" He kept eyeing me. 

"During y'all's lunch. She said she knew I would be bored. I wasn't going to kick her out because I did need company." He shrugged his shoulders, as if he didn't care. 

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" I started to raise me voice. 

I guess I made him mad because he stood up and yelled in my face. 

"The same way you told me about how you're hanging out with River?!" I looked up at him in complete shock. 

How did he know? 

"How did you know about that?" I asked in a shaky voice. 

"Demi texted me about how weird I let you do that." He said. 

I didn't say anything. I wanted to but all of a sudden, there was a huge lump in my throat. 

"I was mad at first but when Gabby came over, I asked her about it. She's the one who told me not to get mad at you because It was a stupid deal." He was calm, but he raised his voice again. 

He was staring down at me, angry. 

"I-I'm s-sorry. I j-just assumed that-" 

"That what? We did something? I don't like, she don't like me. But I can't say the same for you an River." He spat. 

I looked at him confused. 

"What is that suppose to mean?!" I stepped closer to him. 

"I don't like River and I'm only hanging out with him because it was a deal with his mother. If I didn't, she wasn't going to let me see you when you were in the hospital!" He stepped closer to me this time. 

"But he likes you! He's not going to change his ways, no matter what his mother says. He's going to take you away from me! Are you not seeing that?!" 

He was getting more and more angry. I know he has a bad temper but he won't do anything to me. 

"He has changed, Justin! He's not that same person that put you in the hospital. And he doesn't like me. If he did, don't you think he would have made a move already?" I put my hands back on my hips. 

"Are you seriously taking up for him?" He looked at me like I was stupid. 

"Yes I am. You took up for Gabby." I said her name with venom dripping from it. 

"I didn't take up for her! You asked me why she was here and I told you the answered. Don't try to pin this on me. It's not like I called her up here to hang with me, she just showed up." He shrugged again. 

I looked him up and down. 

"I don't believe you." He squinted his eyes. 

"You what?" I made him really mad now. 

"I said, I. Don't Believe. You." I poked him in the chest. 

"Don't touch me." He said through gritted teeth as he pushed my hand away. 

I looked at him. He was fuming. His face was red. If this was a cartoon, I'm sure there would be steam coming from his ears. He just pushed pass me. I followed after him. 

"Don't follow me. Go home, you know your way out." He ran up stairs to his room. 

When I heard the door slam closed, I jumped a little. What did I just do? I pushed him too far. I was about to run up there but he told me to go home. I sighed, grabbed my bag, then left.
