I Never Knew

Justin POV:

"Do you like her?" "No. Yes. Maybe. I don't know." Their faces went from mad to surprised to happy. Moms are so weird. "Well, why didn't you follow her out the door?" "Mom, Charrlett, what is up with all of these questions?" They shook their heads as if it was nothing. "Nothing. We're just trying to see where your head's at." with that they walked away. 

I'm not going to think anything about it but what I am going to think about is Selena. I honestly don't know if I like her or not. People have been wondering if we were dating and every time they asked we said no. But this was different. I kissed HER. It's not like she kissed me to show me she likes me, I kissed her to show... I don't know. Maybe I like her more than I realize. I need to talk to someone besides my mom. I called Andrew and Jeremiah. 

I had to tell him to leave his crazy sister at Selena's. About 10 minutes later both of them run in my room like the world's about to end. "I won." Andrew announced. Jeremiah huffed and stomped like a 5 year old. I laughed. They're always competing against each other and Andrew always win. I don't know why Jeremiah even tries.

 Andrew interrupted my thoughts by saying, "So, why did call me?" "Because he wants to tell you that-" I kicked Jeremiah in the leg. "Dude!" he held on to his leg.  "Suck it up, you'll live." He stuck he tongue out at me. I rolled my eyes. "You wanted to tell me what now?" "I kissed Selena" I said fast. His eyes went wide then a smile spread across his face.

 "Dude! That's awesome!" He gave me a hand shake. I looked at him confused. "How is that 'awesome'?" "Cause she's one the hottest girls in the school. Almost every guy has tried to get with her but she turned them all down." What does that got to do with me?

Selena POV:

Once Melody and Sophia settled in, Sophia spoke, "So what did you want to talk about?" Both of their attention was on me. I looked down and played with my fingers. "Justin kissed me." I heard them gasp. Sophia squealed and got all excited. She was more excited than I was. "Omg! I knew he liked you!" She smiled nonstop. But Melody hasn't said a word. "Mel, are you ok?" She looked up at me. she had tears in her eyes. "No! No I'm not ok. I liked Justin and you ruined any chance of him liking me. You ruin everything for me!" 

She started  to gather her things. "No Mel-" "Don't call me that. Only my friends call me that." Then she walked out. When she opened the door Jeremiah and Grace stood there. She ran off to her car as they walked in. I didn't do anything wrong. I can't help I feel or how Justin feels. I didn't even know she liked Justin. I felt tears going down my cheek.

 Jeremiah pulled me in for a hug. I hugged back. You see Jeremiah is the protective one, Grace is the imaginary one, Sophia is the cheerleader, Melody is the rebel, Andrew is the goofy one, Justin is the sweetheart, and I'm the sensitive one. That's why we're all friends. Sophia and Grace joined the hug. "Thank you, guys." They all smiled at me and Jeremiah kissed my forehead. Then someones phone started ringing.It was Jeremiah's. 

"Hello? Now? What about Grace? Haha ok, see ya." He hung up. He stood up. "I'll see you later. Be good Grace." We all laughed. He kissed all of our cheeks then left. Sophia blushed. "Ohhh Sophia likes Jeremiah." We laughed.

 "And Selena likes Justin." I stopped laughing and blushed. "So, tell us what happened, how he kissed you." "Well, we were playing video games and he got mad because I beat him in Mortal Kombat." They looked so interested, so I continued.
