Pipers POV
I stood at Liams locker tapping my foot so hard that I was almost afraid my foot would come unhinged. Lydia was standing at the corner with Scott who was waiting for Stiles. Aiden and Ethan had both barricaded themselves in their rooms. Kira had left with her mom, she wasn't here and that was driving Scott crazy.
I felt my chest tighten as I smelled Liam walk through the doors. He was with Stiles which was odd because the two of them weren't usually together unless Scott stood between them. I could tell that confusion ran over Liam as he saw me, he glanced at the rest of our group with questioning eyes but no one would look at him.
"Hey...." Liam trailed off as I moved from on top of his locker, fiddling with my thumbs as I didn't look at him. I knew this would be awkward as hell and I wasn't sure what to say but I had to fix this.
"Liam-"
"I'm sorry." Liam cut me off with his knuckles turning red as he clenched his locker. I sighed.
"No Liam I'm sorry." I said shaking my head. His head shot up to look at me with wide eyes. His hand still stiffly wrapped around his locker. "I-" I wasn't sure what else I was supposed to say after that. I was sorry that I had shut him out after I found out I wasn't a werewolf. "Right now everything's changing and if I'm going to do-" I swallowed. "Something big I need something stable in my life and right now your the only stable thing in my life." I told him and he blinked as he realized what I had said.
"What are you planning Pip?" Liam warned and I shrugged, placing a hand on his hand. His eyes shifted to our hands, he seemed to relax. "Piper just be careful." He told me, I nodded turning bright red. We didn't say anything for a little bit as he gathered his books from his locker. "So we're alright?" Liams voice was small as he grew nervous, his heart rate higher than usual.
"Yeah." I whispered twisting the bottom of my cardigan, I felt Liam's body relax next to me as I mumbled a response to him. I really hopped that Liam wouldn't push anymore questions on me about what I had planned.
I could feel Lydia looking at us from her spot next to Stiles and Kira, I looked up at her, putting two thumbs up in the air. She let out a small dragged out sigh. No one had heard from Malia in a few days and it was a good thing because she would have freaked out when Lydia pulled Stiles head down to her own. Connecting their lips, he looked surprised with wide eyes before they fluttered shut. Then she detached their lips and I could hear her mumble something along the lines of 'I like you, too dork'. The next thing I knew their hands were linked and Stiles's smile was a mile long as they made their way over to us.
"Wow." Liam said looking at Lydia whose lipstick wasn't as perfect as she would have liked but didn't seem to care. Her hand looked nice in Stiles's hand, he seemed to be dazed.
"Stiles you alright?" Scott asked shoving his shoulder into Stiles's. Stiles jocelled from a daze state to look around, his eyes wide like he had slipped into a day dream. We all broke into grind before laughing at the boy who was only focused on the strawberry blonde whose hand was with his where it belonged.
