"So grandma", I said picking at the food on my dinner plate. "I need to bring him back...and I don't know how to do that. Would you happen to have any experience with resurrection?", I asked, looking up at her. She blinked a few times, as if she was thinking hard about something.
"I know how to bring him back, but...", she trailed off.
"But what?", I said nervously.
"I can't exactly tell you how yet. This might be hard to understand, but I believe his resurrection is already in the process. I can't tell you how or why, because then you might try to force it. You can't force it...it just happens", she said, now looking into my eyes.
"Grandma, I don't understand. Can you just give me some answers?", I said with desperation and frustration in my voice. She wasn't helping much.
"Just be patient, Lily. Trust me."
"But...okay.", I sighed. "I have one more question though. If Jungkook's body was burned, how is he supposed to come back?", I asked.
"If it's really meant to, the human soul can regenerate a body...basically the ghost that you're seeing would just take the form of a human, heart pumping, blood flowing. It's just transforms, I guess you'd say.", she said, trying her best to explain it to me.
"That sounds insane to be honest.", I said.
"It is.", she spoke before taking a bite of the food on her plate.

The next day...Jungkook and I were in my grandparents' backyard, as I swung on an old wooden swing that hung from an oak tree. We were just listening to the chirps of birds and the rustling of wind in the trees, and enjoying each other's company.
"Jungkook", I spoke, interrupting the silence. "What's it like...being dead?", I asked, not being sure if I should have.
He leaned against the tree and thought for a minute. His brown eyes watched me as I swung back and forth. "Lonely.", he finally spoke. "Especially because my family moved away. Even if they can't see me, I wish I could still see them. But that house is completely empty now...", he trailed off, shifting his gaze to the the ground.
"I'm sorry, Jungkook.", I said, regretting asking him.
"It's ok. It's really not as bad anymore with you around. I was so isolated for 3 years, but here I am. Talking to you.", he said looking back up at me.
I was glad to be able to bring even a tiny bit of light to his dark world.
"Want me to give you a push?", he said, lightening the mood a bit.
"Sure.", I smiled.
He made his way towards me before putting his cool hands up against my back, giving me a push. I squealed as he put lots of force into the push, causing me to swing much higher than I previously was.
I looked back to see that adorable bunny smile. It's been awhile since I've seen that smile.
