8 months later
(Last month of school)

It was finally the last month of school, meaning it was loaded with exams and projects, but Jungkook and I took Friday night as a chance to just relax and enjoy ourselves. Maybe we should've been studying, but like screw that. We're mentally exhausted. So instead, Jungkook and I sat on his living room floor, playing Jenga and eating Oreos, cause you know we're cool like that.

"I''m so gonna win.", I said as I carefully pulled a block from the stack.

"Are you kidding? I'm so gonna kick your ass.", he laughed as he took his turn pulling a block out, focusing intently on it.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!", his mom shouted from the kitchen, causing Jungkook to jump up, knocking the tower over in the process. "Mom, you made me lose!", he whined, staring at the pile of blocks in front of him. I could only watch and laugh as he pouted. "That's what you get for saying ass!", she shouted back. "But you just said it.", he mumbled. "What was that?", she asked as her head peaked around into the living room.

"Nothing!", he shouted back as his face turned bright red. I couldn't help but laugh even more, earning a glare from him.

"Lily, I'm almost done with dinner. You're welcome to stay and eat with us if you'd like.", Mrs. Jeon said, giving me a warm smile.

"Oh I'd love to, but I should probably be getting home by now. It's my dad's birthday, and I know he'd be upset if I missed out on his birthday dinner.", I chuckled.

"Alright that's fine! Jungkook you should walk her home...and stop eating all those Oreos! You'll spoil your dinner.", she said as Jungkook stuffed his face with one more cookie.

"God I can't wait to get a car.", Jungkook groaned as we began our walk to my house. "Jungkook it's like two blocks.", I laughed. "Yeah but still...I think I'm getting one as a graduation present.", he said with a grin on his face. The thought of him graduating kind of made me sad.
"I keep forgetting you're a senior.", I said, looking at the ground. "Why? Am I not mature? I'd say I'm pretty manly.", he said giving me a smug look, but I only continued to stare at the ground.

"You okay?", he asked, realizing I didn't look very happy. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little sad that my last year of high school will be without you. No more walking to school or eating lunch together.", I sighed. "Hey, it'll be alright.", he said taking my hand in his. "I'll come eat lunch with you as much as I can. Even thought I hate that place, I'll revisit it just for you.", he said ruffling my hair. "And besides, we're still only two blocks from each other. And as soon as I get a car, I can take you out whenever I want, without having to ask my dad if I can take his car.", he laughed.

"Yeah I guess you're right. It'll be fine.", I said giving him a reassuring smile.

"You have a cute smile, you know?", he said, as his gaze didn't leave my face. I couldn't help but look away and blush. "Don't turn away when you blush!", he demanded. "I love seeing that I have that effect on you."

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not blushing.", I said, trying my best to keep a straight face. "Whatever you say, Mrs. rosy cheeks.", he said, teasing me. "Oh by the way, I've been meaning to ask you something.", he said as he stopped walking to turn to me.

"What is it?", I said looking up at him.

"Well you know how it's my senior year...so there's prom and all.", he said as a smile crept up on his face, along with mine. "And I was wondering if you'd go to prom with me. Not like you have a choice, I'd make you go either way.", he said, earning a nudge from me. "Well if I really have no choice...I'd love to.", I said while wrapping my arms around his neck. I reached up to kiss his lips, before we broke away to continue our walk to my house, hand in hand.
