Chapter 6

Rose POV
As soon as dinner has finished we exit the hall and wait for Albus and Scorp since they have been asked to stay behind because of their loud conversation during dinner.

"Good luck Mr Malfoy, you'll need it" I hear McGonagall say as Al and Scorp come out of the hall.

"Hey" Scorp says.

"Hi" I say "what was that about you needing luck?" I ask getting straight to the point, I'm a very nosy person, then again who isn't?

"Scorpius here is in loooovvveee with y-" Al manages to say before Scorp stops him by putting his hand over his mouth.

"AL!!!" Scorp shouts.

"Waaa" I can faintly hear Al say as he shrugs his shoulders.

"So who's the girl Scorp?" Ali asks.

"No one" Scorp says.

"Common you can tell us" I say, trying to not sound too hurt.

"Yeah, tell them Scorp you never know, they might feel the same way" Al says as Scorps hand comes away from Albus' mouth, but quickly goes back again after his words.

"Albus seriously mate, stop" Scorpius says. Me and Alice look at each other, confused. Al drags Scorp to the side and they start whispering.

"What do you thinks wrong?" I ask Alice.

"I don't know" she answers as I check the time.

"Ali I need to go to quidditch practise now or else I'll be late" I say "if you get anything out of Scorp tell me when I get back, okay?"

"Okay, see you later Rose" I then run of around the corner, but a few minutes later I hear a very loud "WHAT?!" It sound like Ali's voice but I can't go back or else I'll be late for quidditch practice and James will kill me.

Scorpius' POV
"Albus seriously mate, stop" I say to Al. Albus then pulls me away to the side.

"Common mate just tell her" he whispers.

"No, I can't. Not yet anyway" I whisper back.

"Why?" He asks.

"Because...I'm nervous Al. It's easier said than done, okay?" I whisper.

"Fine" he says and we walk back over to see just Alice.

"Where's Rose?" I ask.

"Quidditch practice" Ali says "Right common Scorpius tell me who you like now!" I look over at Al and he gives me a look as if to say 'just tell her'.

"Fine. It's Rose" I saying Roses name very quietly.

"Sorry, I can't hear you" she says.

"It's...Rose" I finally say.

"WHAT!" Alice shouts.

"Ali!" I say.

"I'm just a little surprised, not too much though. You guys flirt all the time!!" She says.

"Told you" Al says.

"Whatever Al" I say.

"So what are you going to do?" Ali asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well what are you going to say to her?" She asks.

"I don't know, I can't right now" I say.

"Why not?" Ali asks.

"Because... I just can't yet I'm too nervous, what if she doesn't like me back? It would ruin our friendship!" I say.

"Trust me Scorp, she likes you back" Ali says.

"Told you" Al says.

"Shut up Al" I say.

"Anyway, I'm going to watch Gryffindor practice, do you guys wanna come?" Alice asks.

"Of course Scorp wants to go, Rose is there after all" Al say.

"Shut up Al!" I say again.

"Sorry mate it's just too funny!" Al says as we begin to walk to the quidditch pitch.

We get to the pitch and are about to make our way up to the stands when James comes over.

"What are you two doing here" her says pointing to me and Al.

"James calm down we're just here to support Rose" Al says.

"Fine" James says walking back over as Rose comes running on to the pitch.

"Hey James sorry I'm late" she says then looks over to us "what are you guys doing here? And how did you get here before me?" She laughs her beautiful laugh and it makes me smile.

"We just came to watch and support our best friend of course" Ali says.

"Right common Rose no time for chit chat" James says.

"Okay, see you guys in a bit" she says running over to her team mates.

"Right, normal routine today guys" James says as we make our way up to the stands. As soon as we get to our seats the Gryffindor team take of and begin to practice. Rose is zooming everywhere Grabbing the quaffle and scoring points like mad. Her curly red hair swinging behind her, but her hair becomes the problem. It's a very winding day and it's blowing everywhere, right in front of her eyes, and before we know it the bludger is coming straight at her and she can't dodge it because she can't see. We all scream. As begins to fall until she hits the floor with a thud. We race down and see a pool of blood surrounding her. Ali screams and cries. I immediately get down beside her and pick her up carrying her to the hospital wing.
