Chapter 7

Scorpius' POV
As soon as I arrive at the hospital wing with Rose in my arms Madam Rilot instructs me to place her down on a bed.

"Right, out you go. All of you" Madam Rilot says to me and the Gryffindor quidditch team along with Al and Alice.

"Please Madam Rilot" I say.

"No Mr Malfoy, out. She will be fine" She replies. I obey and walk out with everyone else. As soon as we are out in the halls James comes over.

"What's up with you and Rose?" He asks Fred coming up behind him.

"I can answer that" Albus cuts in laughing.

"Al please don't!" I plead.

"Common Scorp it's okay!" He assures me.

"Al what is it?" James asks. Albus looks at me then at James.

"Scorpius here is in looovvvveeee!" He says. I instantly look away.

"What! You're in love with our cousin?" Fred says coming out from behind James.

"Yes" I say quietly.

"How do you know you love her?" James asks.

"I thought I only had a crush on her" I begin.

"How long have you had a crush on her?" Fred asks.

"Since 3rd year" I say quietly as I hear 'oohhh's from the others as Kieran just stares at me.

"Wow mate" James says.

"What?" I ask.

"That's a long time" he begins " but we're getting away from the point of this conversation. How do you know you love her?" James asks again.

"In potions today, we were learning about 'Amortensia' and-"I manage to say before more 'ooohh's come from the others.

"Wow" Fred says.

"Well what you gonna do?" James asks.

"I don't know" I answer truthfully.

"You have to do something really romantic" I hear a new voice say. Lily Potter comes from around the corner, as the rest of Roses cousins follow her.

"How much did you hear?" I ask.

"Enough to know that you're in love with my sister" Hugo says "don't worry about it though Malfoy, though I'm looking forward to when you tell my dad" Hugo laughs.

"Oh shit" I say.

"Don't worry about it Scorpius" Molly says "at least not yet, you're not even together yet"

"I think you should ask her to the Christmas ball" Lucy suggests.

"That's a brilliant idea Lucy!" Ali says "you need to ask her in a really clever and romantic way"

"Yes!" Lily practically shouts.

"But how?" Roxane says.

"Any ideas anyone?" Ali asks.

"I've got one!" Lily says and we all listen very carefully.

"Okay" I say in agreement to everyone. At that moment Madam Rilot bursts out of the hospital wing doors and I immediately stand up and make my way over to her.

"She's okay. She's still unconscious from the hit. Her right leg is broken and she has a huge cut on the side of her head. Now one at a time. Mr Malfoy I think you should go in first" she finishes winking at me. I practically run into the hospital wing and to Roses bedside.

She looks so peaceful yet so broken. I brush a piece of her long red hair out of her eyes. I then kiss her on her forehead as I hear an 'aww' from behind me. I turn around to see the whole Weasley-Potter clan staring at me.

"You two are so cute" I hear Lily say.

"Yeah!" I hear Alice agree as the rest of the girls show their agreement too. Rose then moves slightly, causing me to turn around and look at her as the others come running over.

"Rose?" I say.

"Scorp?" She's says her eyelids fluttering open slowly.

"Hey" I say.

"Hi" she replies.

"Helllooooo? We're here too" James says waving his arms about.

"Hello everyone" Rose says as we laugh.

"What happened?"she asks.

"You were doing your normal quidditch practice routine and your long hair got in your way making you unable to see, this causing you to get knocked out by a bludger" Alice says.

"Oh, stupid hair" she says pulling at her hair, we all laugh at her. "What? What's so funny?"

"You just don't know Rosie-Posie" James says.

"Don't know what? Can you tell me so I know?" She asks she clueless.

"Sorry I can't Rosie-Posie, you'll find out soon enough. Don't worry" James says.

"Okay" she says still really dozy from being unconscious and drugged up on magical medication "can I go to sleep and wait?"

"Of course" I say.

"Okay" she says "Night Scorp. Night Al. Night Jam..." She couldn't finish as tiredness takes over her and she drifts of into the land of sleep.
