Chapter 13: Back To Hogwarts

First of all before you read the chapter I just want to say a huge sorry and thank you to all of you. I'm very sorry that I haven't been uploading I have been very busy and had a huge case of writers block, and thank you to those who have stuck around and are reading right now. I am so grateful for all of you! 💗

Roses POV
Today we go back to Hogwarts after our short Halloween break. It was a reasonably good break, Scorpius spent the majority of it with us but eventually had to go back to his own family. I missed him and that sounds so girly and cheesy because he was only gone for 3 days, but it's true.

I always said to myself that when I have a proper boyfriend and relationship that I wouldn't become one of those cheesy and clingy girlfriends, and yet look at me now! My younger self would despise me now. You can most definitely say that when I was younger I wasn't one of those little girls who dreamed of her prince coming to sweep her of her feet, and then riding of on a magic unicorn to perfect princess life. No. I dreamt of reality, reality for me was being smart and doing well in class as well as speeding round a quidditch pitch. I didn't need a man to make me happy, and I always thought that until my third year at Hogwarts when boys got a lot prettier and my appearance bothered me more.

Pretty sure my dad preferred the time when I was less boy occupied, though I never lost touch with all of my childhood realitys. School and quidditch are still two of my top priorities, the only thing that changed is that Scorpius is now part of them priorities. Oh and don't forget friends too, they're on my priorities list too.

Well if there's one thing you can say about me, it's that I've got my priorities sorted.

As my mum pulls the car to a stop at kings cross station, I look at my watch and notice we only have five minutes to get to the platform and on the train. Well, at least we have an extra minute compared to last time.

We're always late. Always. If there's one thing about our little family, it's that you can count on us to be the last to arrive to anything. Last new year we arrived to our family party at the burrow with exactly thirty minutes to the new year. To be honest that's our biggest record, I'm quite proud of us. Don't think my mum is.

Anyway we rush into kings cross and to the platform then on to the train. Dad shoves mine and Hugo's trunks on the train and we both hug our parents goodbye.

Then there was banging on the window behind us and I saw my family along with Scor and Ali waving and signaling for us to get on the train before it leaves without us. Hugo got on first and the train began to move and I jumped up. Some may think that it's hard to jump on a train but I've been doing it for the past 5 years, so I'm used to it.

I went straight to our compartment, and everyone was there. You might be thinking right now how that compartment fits us all in, well the answer is that it doesn't. We're all squished together with no personal space, but that's how us Weasleys like it.

Thought to be honest after a few minutes of catching up with family members, even though we most likely spent the whole holiday together, we all split up going to find friends in other compartments.

The only people left in the compartment now are me, Scor, Al, Alice, James and Fred. Why James and Fred are still here I will never know. Although, I kinda wanna know now.

"James, Fred. Not to be mean or anything, but what are you two still doing here? You've normally left by now" I say.

"Do you really not like us Rosie?" Fred asks laughing.

"Be serious" I say laughing, not being serious at all.

"But I already am Sirius" James says. (*So sorry about that joke, I just had to*)

"Shut up and answer my question" I say.

"You want to know the truth?" Fred asks laughing and James looking suddenly serious.

"Fred you wouldn't" James says.

"James here, when we were in Diagon Alley on Friday asked out Olivia Braison. Then, got horribly rejected and is now to scared to see her out of embarrassment" Fred said efficiently.

"Are you kidding?" Albus says laughing.

"Nope" Fred says laughing too.

"FRED I asked you not to!" James exclaims.

"Awe poor Jamesie" Albus whines.

"Shut up Albus Severus" James says bitterly as he gets up to leave.

"Bye guys" Fred says while laughing and leaving following James.

I'm so sorry about how short this chapter is and how long it has taken me to write it and publish it! I can't explain how sorry I am for this! I love all you faithful readers who are reading right now and have been here from the start and never in a million years did I ever think that this story would reach 6k READS! WTF! FREAKING CASJFAJF. I love you all so much and hopefully I will update and write another chapter soon for you all, but if you have any suggestions leave a comment of what you want to see and I will o my best!

Just want to say I found an old note book with Scorose Post-Hogwarts one-shot in t that i wrote over a year ago and completely forgot about it so if you would like me to write that up and publish it maybe in a new book or wherever then please let me know. Love yas!<3
