Chapter 15: Déjà Vu?

Roses P.O.V
"Teddy I don't understand what just happened" I say as we walk down the dim hallways.

"You're not the only one Rosie" Ted begins "though you seem to be the only one who saw this girl, did you know her?"

"I couldn't tell who it was" I reply to Teddy "Can we just go back now, I want to see Scor"

"I know you want to see Scorpius Rosie, but right now you need to calm down and things need to be sorted there and that's not the right place for you to be right now." Teddy explains. I don't reply. We continue walking down the halls, no clue where we were going. We turn a corner and the hall is dark, we both immediately stop in out tracks.

"Teddy?" Lights flicker on and off, then finally decide to stay alight. The girl, she's back. On the floor, in yet another pool of her own blood. I scream for what feels like the one hundredth time this evening. "That's her! Teddy, that's the girl!"

"Rose stay right here, I'll be back as soon as I can" he says then running off not listening to my reply. I stay put and don't move. I don't dare take one inch away or towards the bleeding body. I hear voices whispering again, like before. I feel enclosed in the whispers, trapped. I begin to panic, I back myself up against the wall and sink to the fall. I close my eyes and attempt to ignore the voices around me. I finally lift my head moments later when the sound of footsteps catches my attention. I turn around to be faced with nothing, the sounds of screams and whispering getting louder and louder as my head is flooded with fright. My screams fill the air and I begin to collapse when a strong pair or arms surround themselves around me, catching me. The horrific whispers soon disappear and Scorpius' calm voice reaches my ears instead, instantly relaxing me.

When I had finally calmed down Scorpius pulls back from our hug to investigate my tear stained face. He rubs one finally tear that falls down my face before kissing my head gently.

"Rosie.Look at me" I turn my head up to look at him. "Are you okay? Don't try and say you are when you're really not, and don't ask me why I'm asking you even though I know"

"I love you" I reply slipping my arms around his waist and digging my head into his chest. He rests his chin on my head and I close my eyes and savour the moment.

Moments later McGonagall enters the scene along with everyone else, demanding us all to move away and stay back. Me and Scorp obey, but still stick together. Albus makes his way over to us with Alice by his side.

"Who is it?" Albus whispers to us, keeping his voice down and being sensitive on the subject at hand. However before anyone could answer, James beats them to it.

"Her name is Olivia Braison" He said trying so show the least amount of emotion he could. I leave Scorps warm embrace to go over to James to check on him. I hear McGonagall continue her small investigation behind me along with all the other teachers.

"J, are you okay?" I ask him as I try to look at his face that he's covering.

"I'm fine Rosie, don't worry about me. What about you?" He replies.

"It's okay to be upset James" I say to him, ignoring his previous question. As soon as I say that I can practically see the walls he'd built up surrounding him and his feelings crumble and fall right in front of my eyes. I throw a comforting arm on his shoulder and just stand there with him. I've never seen James like this, he's always blocking people off from his sensitive and emotional side. He's constantly got this barrier up and only ever showing his protective and poplar side of him, never his weak and vulnerable side. I've know him my entire life and this is the only time that I've ever actually seen him like this. This girl definitely meant more to him than he let on.

"It's stupid really" he finally says.

"What is?" I ask.

"Me. Getting all... like this over someone I didn't even know that well." He confesses.

"It's not stupid James, it just shows that maybe you like that girl more than you think and that she means more than you know" I reply. We both stay silent for a moment while we watch people fuss over her. After a while they begin to transport her to the hospital wing and James' eyes never leave her as she's moved. "Maybe a visit to the hospital wing will be nice?"

"Yeah, I think so. Thank you Rosie" he says and hugs me "Also, don't tell anyone about this yeah, don't want you ruining my reputation ay?"

"Sureeee" I reply hugging him back.

"Sure you're okay?" He asks one final time.

"I'm sure I'll be okay, just shaken" I assure him, and then with that he's leaving the hall making his way to the hospital wing. He might be an annoying shit but I wouldn't trade my cousin for the world, or any of them for that matter.

I make my way over to where Al and Scorp are now along with Teddy. As soon as I reach them their conversation stops abruptly, odd.

"What?" I ask looking at all three of them until one of replies to me.

"Nothing Rosie" Scorp begins.

"Everything's fine" Ted continues.

"It's all good in the hood" Al finishes, now I'm certain that they're hiding something. Al has never been good at hiding things and 'acting normal' if in situations like this.

"Tell me" I say sternly.

"Rosie nothings wrong, just that Madame Pomfrey wants to check on you after everything's happened" Scorp explains, although I still don't believe that's what they were really talking about. "I'll go with you, yeah?" I nodded in reply and walk away with him but turn back to see that McGonagall had joined Teddy and Albus in yet a another heated discussion.

They're definitely hiding something from me. Something big, and bad. That's for sure, and I'm going to find out what whether they like it or not.

Ayyyyy look who finally updated! Hope you're all proud! Anyway, updates are going to be very slow, sorry about that. I'm still planing everything for this book and I want everything to be the best it can be instead of being rushed and turning out crap. I hope you can all understand, but hopefully this keeps you occupied for a little while. Anyway I'd just like to thank you all for all your support throughout this book, it means everything to me and I'm forever grateful.
