Eren's messed up life (Levi x Eren)

"Poor brat"

~ Levi's POV ~

"Oh......my parents are probably worried about me"

I shake my head wondering why he was lying. Looking up I see a wide eyed Hanji and sympathetic looking Erwin, his eyes trailing the floor.

"Okay, I'll call Farlan see if he can give you a lift" I say as both Hanji and Erwin stare in my direction in shock and confusion.

"But Levi-" Before Erwin could finish Eren interrupted.

"No, you've done enough thank you. I'll be leaving now"

"But you're in no state to walk home!" I shout but he just ignores me and limps over to the front door.

"Thank's again" 

And he leave's, just like that, he just gets up and without another words. Leaves.

"Farlan's on his way, he say's he's down the road"

"How do you know Hanji?" She pulls out her phone showing me there conversation with Farlan.

"He just messaged saying he's just dropped off his mate from the cafe" I nod her a thankful, her returning one.

We were all slowly standing up, about to make our way to the front door when we heard a car horn along with a horrid, deafening scream. Looking from one another we took no time to sprint to the door seeing a panicked Farlan sprinting round to the front of his were was a horrifying puddle on blood circling his foot wheel.

"It's Eren!" Hanji screams running over to the , nearly, crying Farlan .

"Fuck! What else does the boy have to go through" I mutter under my breath.

Me and Erwin make our way to see Eren slowly sitting up, the wound on his head reopened, tears falling down his cheeks. Poor brat. I see him struggle to get up giving Farlan a small smile as he asks for his forgiveness. He turns to me, still crying, and laughs scratching the back of his neck.

"Not so lucky am I" He laughs, tears falling into his mouth "Well let's try again shall I. See you soon!"

I see Hanji scramble to her feet running over to the boy as Erwin take's over comforting Farlan.

"Eren!" Hanji yells "Wait!"

"I'll take you home! As a sorry, please!" Farlan calls after the boy, getting to his feet arms out readying to stop him "I won't be able to forgive myself if I don't help you. Please?" Eren smile's giving a small nod. 

Once seated in the car with Farlan driving, Erwin in the passenger seat and me in the middle with Hanji to my right and Eren on my left calling out directions to Farlan here and there. Looking to my right I see a fidgeting Hanji playing with her fingers.

"So Eren who do you live with?" I say my question as everyone becomes quiet in interest. He looks down and back to me giving me a smile.

"Oh, my parent's they're really nice. I'm.... the only child" I nod. Why is he lying? I look at Hanji who only shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you think we could meet them?" I wonder if the school report was wrong?

Panic came upon Eren's face as he begins to shake.

"Guy's I think it's time we take Eren to hospital" Farlan says as Erwin nods in agreement.

"No, no that's fine I don't want my parent's to waste there money on me. It's cool my father use to be a doctor" I watch him suspiciously as he point's over to a old disgusting looking flat. The flat was white with vine's patching most of it up. The wooden door had a few hole's in it and one of window's was covered in wood. Is he poor?

"So are you parent's in?" Hanji asks.

"Umm I don't-don't think so but thanks anyway"

Eren hop's out of the car as I follow him.

"Hey Levi" I turn as she whispers in my ear "I think he's lying, poor thing. Stay with him make sure those injuries get sorted. Me and Erwin are gonna get Isabel and he's dropping us off home. Will you be alright?" I nod as she shuffles back into her seat, me jumping out "Be nice"

"Will do" And they drive off down the road. I turn back to Eren's so-called house to notice that he's already shut the door and is inside. Noticing he doesn't know I'm still here I creep around the side of his house to see another wooden window but this one has a gap big enough for me to see through.
