Eren's messed up life

~ Eren's POV ~

"It's been a while hasn't it... Rivaille?"  

Silence. Fear. Faint.

That's all to be heard and felt. Not for me anyway, but for Levi. His face is pale, paler then normal, eyes resistant in blinking, there sight heard onto the ginger/brown haired man at the over side of the tunnel.

"Hey Levi?" I speak out in a hushed tone to him, him still tensed, frozen, facing the mans direction "What's wrong? Who are theses people?-" My question is motioned to the man and blonde haired woman blocking the exit we need to take to get home "-and who's Rivaille?" 

"You sure haven't changed these past months have you Ravi?" The man says using the name 'Rivaille' and changing it into 'Ravi' for shortness "And it seems you've brought your little friend - or more? With you" He acknowledges.  

"I think the cats got hiss tongue baby~" The woman chimed in singing out her words "Now now there's no need to be afraid~" 

"Hey? Levi, answer me. What's going on?" Shivers where rushing down my own spine, seeing Levi this vulnerable showed that even I'd have no chance against these people.

"-W-what do you want Tyler?" Levi finally spoke out, hands in fists around my own aching hand. 

"Just to - I don't know - check up on you? I guess. It's been a while now, and we still never got our fair share of the payment back... How is everything? you know, was he able to sort everything out for us, because we are getting very irritated over here"

"I don't know" Levi quickly snapped back, his hand jolting forwards and yanking me forwards with it "I couldn't answer even if I wanted to for I haven't seen him" There words between one another was confusing, my heart hammering against my chest just begging to go home "I have nothing for you," He spoke now with confidence "I suggest you find him and get the answer's out of him yourself, now we must be on our way-"

"Oh no you don't" Tyler said denying up entry "I know you know where he is-"

"I already told you I don't!" Levi shouted defensively back, his arms around his waist holding me as we both take a few steps back.

"Don't give me that crap! He owes us and we aren't going this time with nothin'! I demand to know where e' is right now!" 

The muscles on the mans arms tensed, and un-clenched. His bodging veins popping out showing his strength. The woman behind him just smiling while she stays put blocking our exit. As if we could both read each others mind we spun at fun speed and dashed back to the way be came.

"STOP THEM!!" Was the only thing needed to be said when where was, once again, blocked off but this time by some brown haired, tall, twins. 

Levi's feet halting on the floor and his arms open wide to catch me when I trip up from the unexpected stop. Levi's breath was fast and hard for only a short distance for which we'd run, this showing me these men meant no good. 

Another blonde haired woman casually peered over one of the twins shoulders, herself looking smart but obviously showing she wasn't part of the group, her eyes widened herself jogging off away from us and going the opposite not looking back.

"Tch. Pathetic" Levi muttered under his breath "Let's just hope she has the balls to call the police"

"The police? Why? What's going on, Levi? I don't get it-"

"Shut up!" On of the twins yelled, my lips zipping shut "What we do big bro?" 

Levi's palm squelched in my own by how much he was sweating, the heat of his chest making myself hot, now I would be blushing if I wasn't for the situation we were in. His arms shook while holding me ever so slightly, but it was un-noticeable, his face blunt and himself trying to hold my as if for protection. The bag of books slowly ripping through the plastic bag in-which he still held.
