I apologize if this chapter is super long and wordy and boring :(

I was greeted by members of the 104th Trainees Squad as I closed the door behind me. They were all sitting around a table, snacking and chatting. I recognized three of them, Eren Jaeger, Armin Arlert, and Mikasa Ackerman, from th recent incident within Wall Sina. The other three had familiar faces but I didn't know. I sat down with them and immediately got down the business. My objective was to obtain as much information as possible to see how it added up with the information that I possessed.
"I'll be working with you on this mission concerning Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Fubar and their captives Ymir and Historia Reiss. My name is G. Baringer. I'm--"
"An Assassin," one of the three people I didn't recognize interrupted. He didn't sound very thrilled about me, an I didn't expect him to.
"Right," I said, moving along, "I understand that similarly to Annie Leonhardt, the t--"
"Commander Irvin must be really desperate," he interrupted again. I refused to lose my temper, which was the only thing I even mildly struggled with in my training.
"Be nice, Jean," said the girl who was snacking on some bread.
"How am I supposed to be nice to a murderer?" Jean replied darkly. Clearly, he was surpressing an outburst as well.
"What is wrong with you, man?" Eren said exasperatedly, "Can't we get through a simple discussion without you acting like a complete moron?"
"You're the moron if you think--!"
"Would just shut up--!"
"Guys, cool it, let--!"
"Seriously!? You are such a--!"
Everyone kept cutting into each other's sentences and suddenly they were all screaming at each other and Eren had a hold on Jean's collar and Mikasa was trying to calm him down and basically, it was all very irritating and I reached a breaking point. Me, plus the situation of Reiner and Bertholdt, put a lot of tension on these guys.
I stood abruptly, slammed my fists on the table, and shouted, "ENOUGH!!"
They all fell completely silent, staring at my fists. I looked down.
They were not surprised by my shout, but by the fact that when I slammed my fists on the table, my Hidden Blades extended and broke through the wooden surface. The moment of silence was awkward and even embarrassing for me. Like, way to give a good first impression.
"That's it. I'm out of here." Jean walked toward the door, angrily.
"Wait!" Armin said after him, "What about the mission?"
"With her!?" He pointed at me, "I'd rather burn in hell!"
And with that, he left. I was actually surprised. Did people really hate Assassins that much?
"He'll come around, don't worry," Connie assured me. "He's a nice enough guy once you get to know him."
"If he lets you get to know him," Sasha pointed out, "No offence, but he seems to despise you."
"Whatever," I muttered, "I just need information on Reiner and Bertholdt. If you could tell me everything as quickly as possible, that would be much appreciated. Clearly, I have an issue to settle with Jean."
The six of us carried on with the initial objective of this meeting. Armin and Eren did most of the talking and Mikasa, Sasha, and Connie chimed in with other important info. Everything seemed to add up cleanly with my information which I did not disclose to them. The Scouting Legion managed to retrieve Eren from the kidnapping but Historia and Ymir were still lost. We'd be setting off as soon as possible on another trip outside the walls to find them.
