"Ms. Baringer?" A soldier approached me and Jean who were still sitting under a tree.

"Yes, sir?" I looked up at him. "You can call me G by the way, it's a bit easier."

"Um, yes, Commander Irvin wants you in his office."

"Alright," I stood up, brushing off my trousers.

"You too, Jean."

Jean sighed and followed after me. We re-entered the building, not saying anything to each other. On our way to Irvin's office, I was greeted by Levi.

"What have you two been up to?" Levi asked.

"Just straigtening out a personal issue," I replied.

"Have you gotten all the information you require?" He held the door open for me.

"Yes, sir."

"Good, because that's what we'll be discussing now," Irvin said from his desk. He looked painfully tired. Hanji, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa were also in the office.

"I'm afraid there isn't much for me to disclose. I have a fairly good idea of where they might be," I said, "Not sure if it's a real place, though. You'll just have to trust me."

"I had a feeling you'd say that," Irvin sighed. "We'll need to make some changes to our mission plan, yes?"

I nodded. I sat down in front of him. He had a map of the walls on his desk that mainly showed the South corner. "Where do you think they might be?" Eren asked, his eyebrows drawn together as usual, I presumed.

"Yeah, and what do you mean you're not sure if it exists?" Armin questioned.

"Well, to most people, this place is merely a legend that no one really talks about anymore, especially within the last five years. All focus is shifted to the South, since the South is jam-packed with those distractions known as Titans." I pointed on the map. "That's why it's such a good hiding place for that thing in Eren's basement."

"Do you know what that thing is, exactly?" Hanji asked.

"I've got a fairly good idea," I said but I didn't want to dwell on it, "But finding Bertholdt and Reiner first would be more valuble, it would confirm many uncertainties. And I'm going to assume that the two of them are not total idiots and say they're headed west right now."

 "Why west?" said Eren.

"Because their goal is to reach the North and there are plenty more Titans in the East than the West. They used the Titans in the South to distract you So they could make a cleaner escape."

"What's in the North?"

"It doesn't matter now, that's where all the legends come in."

"Quit  withholding information and give us a straight answer for once," Jean said.

"I can't right now, there are too many gray areas. I can theorize all I want, but that wouldn't make myths real and it certainly wouldn't be beneficial." I shot him a glance. "We need to concetrate on intercepting them in the West--"

"Brilliant," Eren said, with a determination to kill all over his face. I could tell Mikasa was thinking the same thing. I'd seen those faces on other members of the Brotherhood.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, Eren," Levi cut in, "but your Titan powers will only be used as a last resort. If we kill them, G won't be able to extract the information she needs in order to clear up the gray areas. This mission isn't centered on your petty plight for revenge." Eren clenched his fists angrily.

"He's right," I agreed, "If we play our cards correctly, there'll be a domino effect of answers. The Titans will be eliminated in no time. We can't skip any opportunities to fill in blanks."
