Interview with @BmaieF
What is your favorite book you have written?
Liam's Girl
Cool! Okay, first question! Why do you write?
I was bullied a lot as a kid and writing became my thing, writing became my only freeway.
What was the first story you ever wrote and when did you write it? (not just on wattpad)
I wrote a story called I wish when I was ten, it was for an English class at school and I got an A on it.
When you write who controls the story, you or the characters?
I'd say the characters, haha, that sounds weird but when I write I tend to take the mind of the character, so yeah the characters.
Where do your stories come from/what is your inspiration(s)?
My inspiration is pretty much everything around me, when I was a kid we went through a rough patch and my main toy was my imagination, I was constantly playing princesses and mermaids with my childhood friends so I suppose most of my inspiration comes from my imagination.
Which idea comes to you first, the characters or the plot?
I'd say the plot and then I am able to make characters fit to the plot.
Is writing just a hobby or would you like to become a full time author?
It is a hobby and I would love to become a full time author but at the moment it is a secondary dream.
How often do you read and what type of books?
I read all the time, I read a range of genres, I like mythical and fantasy mostly and some teen fiction.
Who is your favorite published author? Why? Who is your favorite Wattpad author? Why?
I don't have one favorite published author, I am constantly at war with myself between J.K.Rowling and Rick Riordan, I absolutely love the Harry Potter series as well as the Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus series'. Both authors are exceedingly talented and I just love their works.
My favorite Wattpad author would have to be MelTheBookAddict, I just adore her story Project Popularity, it is amazing.
Do you plan out your stories or just get a basic idea and wing it?
Wing it, I always seem to wing it.
How did you learn to write stories?
I was taught in Primary school, we had a few lessons on how to construct a story.
How do you re-inspire yourself when you get stuck?
I've learned that a change in location helps me and music. I had serious writer's block before and I went to baby sit for my Auntie, I found myself writing pretty much as soon as my cousins were asleep, all I needed was a new view on things and music always helps me focus and get back on track.
Are you more of a creative or logical person?
I'm kind of a bit of both, I'm a right weirdo haha, I always look at both the logical ways and creative ways of things.
Do you listen to music as you write? If so what type and does it affect your writing?
I listen to a lot of music, from Country to Pop, I'll listen to anything except screamo and Rap. It doesn't really affect my writing it just helps me keep focused.
Where and when do you write best?
When I'm sat on my bed and I'm in a good mood, if I write when I'm in a bad mood it often affects what happens to my characters.
Okay! That's it for your questions, may I speak to a character from Liam's Girl?
Yeah sure, Natasha is free at the moment.
Okay! Hi Natasha! I'm going to ask you a few questions if that is okay. What was your most embossing moment?
Hi, my most embarrassing moment, huh? Once when I was coming out of the academy (I'd had a terrible day and I looked a mess!) I tripped and head butted a lamp-post, unfortunately the paparazzi were there and captured every bit of it on cameras. Then I even apologized to the lamp-post.
Haha, so you are famous?
Not exactly, I was Liam Payne's girlfriend, I'm supposing you've heard of the boy band he's in, One Direction? Well because we were together, I was kind of thrust into the limelight much to my dismay.
You say "were". You aren't together any longer?
No, it was a mutual break-up, we hardly saw each other and when we did it was awkward, we kind of grew apart, we'd been together since we were fifteen years old and I'm now eighteen, a three year relationship where most of it was long distance is difficult at any age, much less this age. We'd gone from barely seeing each other to seeing each other a lot to barely seeing each other again, we agreed it was for the best. We're still really good friends though, I'd say we are closer now than we were when we were a couple.
Aww that's sad. Who are three people you could not live without?
I couldn't live without my three best friends Arriane, Emma and Cecily, they are seriously the best friends a girl could ask for.
Who or what is your greatest loathing reserved for?
I loath brussel sprouts I just think they taste horrible.
Who or what made you who you are today?
My parents, growing up we never had much money but when both my parents started working we did, they didn't give us things unless we worked for them, like doing the washing up or hovering. They taught me to treat others how you would want to be treated and always use your manners no matter what the situation.
What is your favorite pass time?
Singing and dancing, it's just so enjoyable!
What are your dreams/ambitions?
I'd love to become a professional singer/dancer even if I taught them, I just want to do something within that sort of area to be honest.
Who was your best childhood friend and what was the worst trouble you got in together?
My best childhood was a girl called Delilah, we once ate all the cookies from the jar in the kitchen when we were about five and that's it really haha.
Last but not least, do you have an item that has a real special sentimental value? If so what is it and why is it so special to you?
I have a silver locket and it is so special to me because it was the last thing I was given from my parents who passed away when I was sixteen.
Okay! Thank you so much for your time! I well set this all and dedicate the chapter to you as soon as I can! God bless!
