What was the first thing you ever wrote and when did you write it?

If you mean outside wattpad,

It was a poem, which I named colours.

You see during my maths period I get fascinated by every little thing around me, that’s how bored I am.

I wrote it when I was in 7th grade.

In wattpad,

It was The Amara Stone. (previously known as My Supernatural Life!)

I'm still writing it...;)

I started it last year.

Cool! Why do you write?

I write because it helps me disconnect from a world with too much of drama, immatureness and sarcasm.

My writing is a river that reflects my attitude.

Where do your stories come from/what is your inspiration(s)?

My stories come from my everyday life situations. Sometimes when I am just lying down and thinking about stuff I get new ideas for my chapters.

I get inspired by music a lot.

Music and me are buddies for life! :P

Which comes first, the plot or the characters?

For me, both the plot and the characters are on the same pedestal.

They're equally important for a story to be worth reading.

Is writing just a hobby, or would you like to become a full time author?

Ummmm....

Writing is a hobby that I would like to make a part time job.

I want to be a pediatrician when I grow up but whenever I get free time, I know I'll write. :)

Who is your favorite published author? Why? Who is your favorite Wattpad author? Why?

My fav author is Dan Brown.

I love the way he makes my heart beat increase with every turn of the page!

My fav Wattpad author is xxmajaine.

Her story lines are really unique and she is a very sweet person to top it!

How did you learn to write stories?

I dint exactly learn, I experimented.

A few story writing competitions here and there helped me out too!

So when you get stuck, how do you re-inspire yourself?

I listen to music, read up a few of my poems, walk around in my garden etc.

Which leads to my next question! Do you listen to music while you write? If so what type and does it affect your writing?

Yeah! All the time!

I listen to mainstream music and sometimes it helps me to write without tiring.

Where and when do you write best?

I write best when I am happy! I like to write in a cozy environment with no one around.

How often do you read and what type of books?

I read almost every day! When I am about to sleep, when I eat, when I wait for the shower to turn hot etc. i like to read thrillers with a bit of romance, fiction, that has elements of history like Dan Brown's books or just some plain old teen romance and chick lit!

Okay then. What is your name?

Hola! My name is Blu Smith.

Well, Blu, it's great to have you here! What was your most embarrassing moment?

Well...... You see, embarrassment is my middle name!  I've had so many of them but the worst one was when I slept after writing an exam and the teacher woke me up because my snoring was disturbing the other students who were writing the exam. *sigh*

Hehe I can relate. What is your favorite pass time?

I love to spend my time with friends, reading and learning new songs that I can sing!

Who was your best childhood friend? What was the worst trouble you got into with them?

My best childhood friend was Rosa. We got into innumerable amount of trouble all the time! The worst one was when we both tied to make the best perfume by mixing both our moms most expensive perfumes together! We were grounded for a whole month! Once I came to Dubai, I lost contact with her.....

Who/what is your greatest loathing reserved for?

Well, I never actually had any enemies but currently the place is reserved for Flo. She is like rust on my shiny iron.

I actually try my best to tolerate people I dislike but Flo crossed all limits when she started insulting my friends....

Who are three people you could not live without?

Wow, tough question....... My mom, dad and brother of course but my friends are equally important. I value them a lot...

Who or what has made you who you are today?

My friends and family. They are like water to my wilted leaves.

But music has played an equally big role...

What is your favorite snack?

Jelly! Yummmmm.... I'm hungry. :(

Haha last question! What are your dreams/ambitions?

I wanna grow up and become a journalist or singer.

Do you have anything you would like to tell the reader? (from you or the character)

Blu: Sometimes when sadness is knocking at your door and you don’t want to face it, forget the knocking and jump out of the window to find happiness instead.

Me: Cherish your best friends, they are the only ones who can see the tears falling from your heart.
