First Instincts

I would need to get used to my new life as a god. First off, I could now fly at 15 times the speed of sound and when in overdrive mode, can go 50 times the speed of sound. My mini-gun assembles itself under my wrist every time instead of having something bulky always under my arm. My "skin" was, apparently, made of the strongest and toughest material on this planet. It was also coated with a skin-like material which gave the appearance and texture of real skin. I was flying towards the Basilicom because IF wanted me to be at a meeting about the matter of making a nation. I wasn't exactly thrilled about making a nation, I didn't really want to make one but, if I had to, I would. I arrived at the door and knocked.

-"Come in!"

I entered the room and saw IF, Compa, the other CPU's and a representative of the government of Planeptune.

-"What's happening?"

-"Come here lad." The man said with a voice that resembled Sean Connery's.

     I walked towards him.

-"As you are well aware, you are now a CPU, and need to make a nation."

  I listened.

-"But, you may not need to make a nation. Let me explain. Firstly, you were not the one who turned into a CPU yourself, Neptune did that. Secondly, you turned into a CPU on Planeptunian soil. Lastly, you were already working for Planeptune in the first place. So you have a choice to make."

     I wouldn't have to now? There's obviously a catch.

-"The first choice is that you make a nation. And that's perfectly fine. The second option is that you don't make a nation. But here's the thing. If you don't, then you and Neptune will get a proportional amount of energy. In other words, you will share the amount of power you get, but that can only happen if you do a blood binding that will link your blood together. Now my boy. What do you choose?"

I didn't want to make a nation and yet I didn't want to hinder Neptune. She walked up to me.

-"I can tell what you're thinking. I don't mind if we have to share the energy!"

-"But Neptune, I'll hinder your powers if I do that."

-"Riley! I lost you once. I'm not gonna lose you again!"

-"Alright, if you insist."

     I looked to the man.

-"I choose to do the blood binding."

-"...Histoire...show them what you showed me..." The man said.

We followed Histoire to a giant room with rings revolving around a Sharicite gem.

-"The procedure itself will be painless, but I need some blood out of both of you." Histoire said.

I opened my left arm to reveal my blood valves and took a bit out. Neptune, on the other hand, took a fancy looking dagger and cut her wrist a little bit to allow 4 drops of blood into a test tube. Histoire then went into a control room and messed around in there. Suddenly, the Sharicite gem lit up and beams of light shot towards me and Neptune. It struck us and it seems I braced too hard for the impact because I didn't even feel it. Histoire came back out after 30 seconds and the beams retracted.

-"The blood binding is complete!" Histoire said.

-"It's almost like they're married now!" Vert said excitedly.

-"Yeah, great, can we leave now?" Noire said.

Eventually, one by one, everyone left the room until me and Neptune were the only ones that remained.
