Haylee's Point of View

"I'm done!!", I exclaimed, throwing my arms over my head in triumph. I woke up at 9:30 today to do my history homework and I had just now finished. It was 3:04 right now. I closed my textbook and shoved it into my bookbag, then threw my bookbag into my closet.

Teachers were usually nice on spring break, they usually never gave us work and just told us to have fun, but not my teachers. Being in the advanced classes meant that you had homework and you were forced to do it. I really didn't have a problem with it, it's just that I'm feeling extremely lazy today and I really didn't want to do it. But now I'm finished, so I get to do whatever I want. Doing whatever I want means that I get to eat and be lazy all by myself.

I got up from my fixed position on my desk chair, stretching my sore legs. I ran my fingers through my hair as I walked over to my closet, looking for something to wear. I threw on some light skinny jeans and a Hipsta Please tank top, along with some white converse. I walked over to my makeup table, grabbing my brush, and pulled my hair into a high pony tail. I put some diamond earrings in my ears and a cute little star necklace that my dad had given me around my neck. I looked over myself in the mirror, checking my appearance.

I felt my stomach grumble. I felt an extremely big craving for a piece of cake come over me.

No, don't go to the bakery, the jerk face is there, I strictly said to myself. But I was really craving a piece of cake, especially red velvet cake. All of that yummy deliciousness was just too hard to resist.

"Oh fuck it", I said, making up my mind to go to the bakery. Maybe he wouldn't be there, maybe he would have a day off or something.

I grabbed my bag and left my house, making sure to lock the door behind me. As I walked down the sidewalk I listened to Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran. His music just always spoke to me, and his voice was just perfect.

I took a deep breath as I walked into the bakery, the bell chiming, letting the whole place know that somebody was here. I looked up at the counter to see that Harry wasn't there, there was a girl there. I walked up to her, giving her a small smile.

"Hello miss, what would you like?", she kindly asked.

"I'll have a large slice of red velvet cake and a cup of green tea please", I said, pulling out my wallet and handing her the exact amount that needed to be paid.

"Alright, I'll have that out for you in a moment", she said, turning around to start making my tea. I walked over to my favorite spot by the window. It had a beautiful view of a few buildings and small garden that was nearby. I was lost in my thoughts until I heard the lady at the front say, "Harry, take this order to that girl over there please".

I mumbled a few cuss words underneath my breath as I heard foot steps approach my table.

"One slice of red velvet cake and one cup of green tea", he said, placing the cup and plate in front of me.

I kept my head down and mumbled a 'thanks'. I didn't hear him walk away, so I snuck a quick peek up at him to see him staring intently at me.

"Haylee?", he asked, a bit of surprise becoming evident in his voice.

"Harry", I said coldly, looking up at him all the way. I slid my plate closer to me, grabbing the fork that was already on it, and started to eat. I could still feel him watching me.

"Can I help you with anything?", I snapped at him.

Harry smirked down at me, "Well, looks like someones knickers are in a twist". I rolled my eyes, picking up my cup of tea and taking a little sip. I thought he would go away, but instead he slid down in the seat across from me. As I continued to eat, he continued to watch me.
