Haylee's Point of View

"It's a 'stay inside' type of day today with a high of 16°C along with rain all throughout the day", the weatherman said. I groaned loudly as I dropped the remote down beside me. I was currently in my bed, drowning of depression from what happened yesterday. I wasn't depressed, I was just really bummed out.

I just couldn't get Louis calling me a player yesterday to register in my mind. I mean, I kissed Harry, Niall, and Zayn, but that doesn't mean I'm a player, right? I felt my cheeks burning as the events from yesterday flashed in my head, especially the part where he ripped up that napkin/letter. That letter was really special to me, it symbolized our friendship. Well, as of right now, I'm not calling him my friend. He's just a jerk in my head now.

I sat up in my bed, stretching my arms above my head. I got up and walked over to my window. I peered out at the rain that was pelting down on the glass.

"Another rainy day in London, how lovely", I mumbled to myself. I leaned my head up against the glass, the cold calming me down. Of course, my parents weren't home, so I again had to entertain myself. After thinking about it for a few seconds, I decided that I would just go for a walk. I needed to clear my head and get some exercise in. I jumped up and walked over to my closet, pulling out a red rain jacket. I pulled on my shoes and stuffed my phone into my pocket. I stopped once I got to the front door so I could place the hood over my head. Once I did, I continued to open the door to step out into the chilly London air.

I started to walk down the sidewalk towards the park. The park had a few trails in the back, which was exactly where I was going. I stared at the ground as I walked, watching the rain drops hit the pavement.

After about 20 minutes of walking, I finally made it to the park. It was deserted. The only other living things that were here were a few birds that were taking the opportunity to eat the bugs that came up from the ground because of the rain. I headed toward the back of the park, stopping when I got to the trails. There were three trails. There was the short trail, the medium trail, and the long trail. I decided to head down the long trail. It was about a two hour walk. I took a deep breath as I entered the forest.

As I walked, I listened to the many sounds of rain hitting different things. Rain was something that was so beautiful. It was like the whole world was getting a shower to get cleansed and to start over. I wish I could start over. I just wanted to go back to the nerdy girl who didn't get any guy attention. I mean, of course I wanted guy attention, but this was too much for me to handle. I sighed as I continued walking, stuffing my hands into my jacket pockets.

I had been walking for a good hour and right now I was pretty terrified. The rain was starting to get heavier and the thunder started to get louder. I jumped as a loud boom of thunder echoed throughout the forest. I started to walk faster, trying to make it out of this forest before the weather got worse. I looked down at the ground as I walked, not wanting to see the destruction the weather was causing.

I jumped again as I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I quickly ran over to stand underneath a tree before I pulled out my phone. I know that standing underneath a tree when it's raining is a very bad idea, but I couldn't risk my phone getting rained on. I squinted my eyes at the screen, immediately recognizing the caller I.D. I pressed the phone to my ear, trying to hear over the continuous booms of thunder.

"L-Liam?", I questioned.

"Haylee? Where are you? What's all that noise?", he asked from the other line.

"I'm kinda in the middle of the forest in the middle of a thunder storm", I said.

There was a slight pause before he answered. "Are you crazy?! Get your ass out of there right now!", he ordered. I looked around me and I suddenly felt my body go numb. I completely forgot which way I was going.
