Haylee's Point of View

It had been a whole week since I told Louis. He didn't text me that night and he completely ignored me at school. I was really starting to get pissed at him. I knew Harry and him are best friends, but I didn't think a little kiss would make him that mad.

More than half of our senior class had found their matches except our group, the popular group, and a few other people. Grace wasn't even trying to find her match, she was still trying to get over Harry dumping her in front of everyone.

"I'm really starting to get pissed", Carter said when we all met by my locker that morning.

"Why?", I asked as I grabbed books out of my locker.

"Because none of the guys that still have keys have the balls to come up to us and see if their key fits with our locks. It's very frustrating. Any one of them could be our match", Carter stated as she pointed to boys that still had key bracelets.

"At least you guys only have one guy. How the hell am I supposed to choose between five?!". I slammed my locker and turned to see their faces.

"I wish they put, like, initials on them or something. To at least give us a clue", Lacey said as she fiddled with her bracelet.

"Preach it girl", Makayla said as she put her hands above her head. The bell rang and we separated to head to our first classes. I slowly walked down the hallway to the classroom, not wanting to see Louis. As I turned the corner I ran into someone. I looked up to see Niall, he was one of the populars.

"Sorry", I muttered as I looked at the ground.

"No, it's alright. It was my fault", he said as he looked at my face. I gave him a small smile and walked around him. I felt his eyes boring into the back of my head as I walked through the door. I looked at the ground as I walked to my seat, not wanting to look at Louis. I heard him clear his throat, trying to get me to turn around, but I ignored him.

During the whole entire class period I could feel him watching me. I fidgeted in my seat, hoping he would get the message that I knew he was watching me. I looked over out of the corner of my eye to see Louis' hand come over my desk, dropping a tiny piece of paper on it. I picked it up and read the message.

It read: We need to talk.

I crumbled the note up and threw it into a nearby trashcan, sending him the message that I didn't want to talk. I heard him sigh behind me, but I ignored him again.

"Are you kidding me?! Please tell me this isn't true", I whined as I looked at Lacey, Carter, and Makayla. We were all sitting at the lunch table, talking about what we were all doing for spring break, which was tomorrow. The whole school would get out for two weeks. Two weeks of enjoying spring and partying non stop to forget about school. Lacey, Carter, and Makayla just told me that they would all be gone for spring break and they wouldn't return until the night before school started again.

"It's true. My parents are forcing me to go visit with my grandparents", Lacey said, biting into her sandwich.

"I have to go help move my sister into her new apartment all the way in America", Carter said.

"What are you doing Makayla?", I asked when she didn't say anything.

"I'm going on a cruise", she mumbled, playing with her hair.

"Great, this is just perfect. I'm going to be stuck at my house for two weeks with absolutely nothing to do. I can't wait", I said sarcastically.

I glanced around the lunch room to see what other people where doing. I felt someone watching me. I turned my head and made eye contact with Niall and beside him was Louis. Louis looked like he was trying to get his attention, but Niall didn't budge. Louis looked closer at Niall's face, following his eyes to where he was staring. Louis made eye contact with me, making my blood boil. I looked away from Louis to look back at Niall, sending him a big smile before turning back around.
