Haylee's Point of View
Shit, shit, shit, shit. What the heck just happened!? One of my locks belong to Harry and I kissed him and now he thinks I'm his. Of course, a guy telling you that you're his is very attractive, but this just makes me more confused and stressed out.
"Harry I-", I started, but he cut me off.
"Don't worry, I understand. Just... please find the other two, that way you can make up your mind and come back to me", he said, stroking my cheek with his hand. Oh god, my emotions were getting the best of me. Again, how did guys know exactly what to say to make girls melt? It's so aggravating, but so attractive at the same time.
"I gotta go", I rushed, knowing I had a very short amount of time to get to the carnival to meet up with Zayn. I turned to leave, but Harry pulled me back into him.
"Can't you stay?"
"No I can't. I told you earlier that I had somewhere to be at seven."
"Can I at least get a goodbye kiss?", he cheekily asked.
I sighed, leaning up on my tiptoes to give him a kiss. I mean, I really didn't have a choice. If I had said no, he would've never let me go.
"I'll see you later Harry", I said as I started to walk away from him.
"See you later Haylee", he said back, starting to walk away in the opposite direction.
I pulled out my phone and checked the time, it was already 6:30. I started to jog through the twist's and turn's of the flower garden, trying to find the exit. Once I found the exit, I quickly started running in the direction I hoped the carnival was at.
I let out a deep breath as I turned the corner, coming face to face with the lights of the ongoing carnival. I manoeuvred my way through the people, trying to find the entrance sign. Suddenly, I felt someone grab my shoulder. I turned around, about to scream, until I noticed it was Zayn.
"You scared me", I breathed, clutching my chest.
"Sorry," he chuckled, "it looked like you were really lost, so I decided to come and find you before the crowd took you away."
"Thanks, I really appreciate it", I chuckled back. There was a brief awkward silence, which was very awkward indeed.
"So, are you ready to go have some fun?", Zayn asked, wriggling his eyebrows.
"Yes I am. Lead the way Malik", I said, gesturing him to go in front of me. We both walked towards the ticket booth, stopping at the back of the line. I looked past the ticket booth at all the rides. Some looked really fun, others looked boring, and a few looked terrifying.
"I'm definitely going to do the spinny cups ride", Zayn said, turning to face me.
"You mean the spinning tea cups? Like the ones at Disney?"
"Precisely. Which ride do you want to ride?"
I scanned my eyes over the rides that I could see. My eyes landed on the tallest roller coaster. It had orange and black stripes that resembled a tiger's stripes.
"That one", I said, pointing to the ride. I watched Zayn raise his eyebrows, his mouth dropping a little.
"Are you sure?", he asked as we both walked up in the line.
"I'm absolutely positive", I stated. I watched as Zayn gulped, fiddling with the money in his hands.
"If you don't want to ride it I understand."
"I want to ride it, it's just that I need to ride smaller rides until I ride that one. That way I can get comfortable." I nodded as we walked up to the ticket lady, finally being able to purchase our tickets. I waited as Zayn paid the lady and waited for our tickets. Once she gave us our tickets, we made our way inside the crazy carnival.
