“Where are we going?”, “Are we almost there?”, “Will we like it?”. Those three questions were flying around in the small room that the car was.
We had decided to go on a family trip, because Eleanor was sick and tired of going to our grandparents or some friends and Ashton's birthday was coming up so Cleo and I came with this exciting idea which she claimed to be hers.
My parents wouldn't join though due work, Felicty wouldn't make it to come here during this break and Scott was preparing a big party at the club. Which left me driving El and Ashton, along with Cleo to our surprise destination.
Sea life.
“We're nearly there, don't whine the trip wasn't that long at all.” Cleo snapped at them, making the both of them shut their mouths.
She felt proud, she always did when she left someone speechless and most times I would laugh at her when she put that silly victory grin on but now I nudged her with my elbow, not in someplace in particular so I didn't really mind where I did it, as long as she felt it.
Her head not so elegantly swinged to the side as she sent me a glare. “What the fuck was that for.”
“Don't curse anywhere near my siblings. You are not only bad with boys but also with kids.”
Cleo and I were both, let's say, awkward around boys, I just ran due horrible memories and she just had some strange phobia of them and drooled from a distance or admired unreachable sixpack guys from the internet. She also claimed to have a long lasting distant relation with Dave Franco. While I just never trusted guys, which made Harry such an exception. I still need to figure out how I trusted him when the others didn't. But I bet I made a right choice doing it.
I hadn't seen Harry after we had our deep, late, night conversation until he found out we didn't have each other phone numbers so he decided to drop off Lux for 10 minutes at childcare, ask my number and pick her back up which I though was lovely.
We've been texting each other ever since, but not like each every second of the day. Often we came up with things we wanted to know about each other. I had learned he had marks of the fire on his right arm, that's why he hadn't had any tattoo on them. His boat tattoo had the meaning of some childhood memories when he and his parents went fishing and they would all act like pirates. He told me his best friend was Dave, the 16 year old son of Marie & her husband and Harry looked at his as his little brother. Harry loves listening to Pink Floyd and Artic Monkeys and when I said I didn't really know anything of the last ones he basicly made me listen to them and I enjoyed the music. It's all I listen to lately. He said he had lost his virginity soon after Alexia left and started fooling around with anyone he could have. Puberty hit him hard, that's what he said, and a lot of girls started to throw themselves at him and he would just take adventage of it. Since his parents passed away he stopped doing it for fun but he never mentioned if he actually had a serious relationship or not. I was kinda grateful he opened up towards me because it felt like a warning, he could just want to play me around like he did with the others. But on the other hand, I don't think he had opened up towards them like he had towards me.
When he asked me about my past I ignored his questions and started about the simple things as my favorite fruit and animals. My friends and my family. He never asked me about my previous relationships again the last days.
