“Felicity!”
Never had I ever thought about shouting a name in public, never did I think that in New York City heads would turn when they heard an unfamiliar name, shouted by an unfamiliar voice in one of the busiest airports of the world. Yet they did, suddenly so many eyes were boring their way through me.
I felt eyes trailing my posture, probably loathing the way I looked. While the girls around me were wearing awfully looking dresses, - may I add that they seemed more than uncomfortable for such a long flight - I was dressed in simple leggings and one of Harry's sweatshirts I had stolen in the past month. However, for once I didn't mind having all eyes on me, or being all alone in a big crowd. I had spotted someone more than familiar to me, actual family. My sister which I hadn't seen in what seemed like years. But out of all head that were turning, she wasn't one of them, instead she was already making her way through the crowd, pushing the people that blocked it aside and finally we ended up in each other's arm, like two truly long lost sisters.
It felt good, being in her arms again. Sometimes in life you need attention from people, you need admiration. Someone to support you and lend your their shoulders to lean on, and a hand to take so they can lead the way. In my life, those hands and shoulders had always been hers. She was my rock, and it sounded absurd to other people, because a sister with the exact same age as you shouldn't be someone to keep you up, shouldn't be someone you had to hold onto, yet she was. And in the past months I had often needed her, and I was grateful to be here in her arms right now, because even though I wasn't going through any rough darkness at this moment, it made up for all the last months that I couldn't feel her skin against mine.
While I was trying to cherish the intimate moment I had missed with my sister, she was looking out for people. Checking them out one by one, never to judge them, but to label the hot guys or the gorgeous girls that could be casted for modelling.
“Not to break the moment here but there is one handsome guy in my eyesight.” I shoved her away by giving her a forceful nudge in her shoulder as I turned around, trying to watch the crowd as subtle as possible. But I couldn't spot anyone, someone looking that particulary handsome in the way my sister would like.
“He's coming our way, don't look at him until he passed beside us, will you? Act casual.” But with saying that she flipped her pinstraight hair from a shoulder and clenched her lip between her teeth. The latest action was something known for seduction, while with Felcitiy it was something she did out excitement. But her lips was revealed from the grip soon enough, especially when a pair of hands found themselves on my waist. Harry was the guy she had been checking out, and I couldn't blame her.
Harry and I had had an eventful month, we tried to figure things out how to hide it from the world, how to get out of his small appartment, who could know and who couldn't there was an us. We tried to figure out to take care of Lux, together. We combined work with free time and eventually it had all worked out surprisingly well.
My parents believed I spent a lot of time with Liam, which acted along with it since he was hiding a relationship from his parents as well. It wasn't something Harry particulary liked, but he had grown to live with it. Marie, her husband and their son Ben were intoduced to me by Harry, only a few days before we had our flight here. We'd dropped off and Harry had insisted to bring me along. I had suffered from some awkward encounter with Ben, which was only seventeen and teasing both Harry and I that Harry had won the jackpot and he would definitely hit on me if I wasn't taken already, especially not by Harry – which pretty much was like a brother to him. And the only remaining person that knew about is was Pam.
One time I couldn't go over to Harry's due housekeeping with my siblings, Harry had been worried and out desperation found himself at childcare. I had told him many times before that I wouldn't work in August yet he thought I could've gone for an immergency. By his worried expression Pam had found out that there was something going on between the two of us and had invited us as a pair to come to her wedding, which would be taken place at the end of October, the wedding being quite Halloween themed.
“I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Harry.” Harry's voice right beside me shook me out of my dreamy thoughts as I watched my two favorite people shake hands. Harry then gestured he'd found our luggage and was ready to head out from ths busy airport. I was looking forward to it, finally having some time with him. Away from all the struggles that kept us from being together at home. I could finally walk the streets, my fingers intertwined by his.
And as I was daydreaming over all the things we could do in the next days, Felicity couldn't stop rambling about how I could keep him from her, how I could keep him a secret from our parents because he looked like an absolute god, and that's where I zoned out.

LOOK AT THIS, okay I feel like this sucks because it was rushed and I'm tired BUT I am continuing shattered from now on because writing this part made me miss it quite a bit. I WANTED THIS PART TO BE SO MUCH LONGER but like I said in the beginning it's been ONE YEAR SINCE I STARTED SHATTERED AND I JUST HAD TO PUT STH ON FOR ITS ANNIVERSARY and it's nearly midnight so it had to be rushed. BUT I HOPE TO BE UPDATING SOON (don't count on it tho it might be by the end of june haha) but things will be happening in nyc! I took quite a step in time but in the next parts I'll have some flashback moments like in this one & new stuff coming up SO STAY TUNED!!
