Chapter 6- Unlucky Dark Elf
"Another Angel, Dead." Echo said, shaking her head. "Are you sure you did it right?"
"I'm positive." Lane said, reading through the paper Echo had. "It's been a month. If I did it wrong we would've known before now."
"He's smart though. Why wouldn't he wait a month or so?" Ty asked, throwing an empty soda can into the recycling bin. "Goal!"
"But he isn't smart when he'd be mad at us for almost banishing him to Hell." Lane added.
"Ugh! This is so confusing!" Echo yelled, tearing through the fridge. "Where the hell did you put my Rum."
"It went bad." Lane said matter-of-factly. "You really shouldn't leave stuff like that at my house, anyway."
Echo growled and marched toward the door. "I'm going to my dam ship to get more." She slammed the door behind her and the whole house shook.
The brothers exchanged glances and shrugged. Echo was mad, and they knew better then to bother her. But all three needed a break, honestly. So the boys followed Echo to her ship. It took about an hour, but they convinced Echo to let them tag along for a weeks voyage.
But they didn't know their consequences.

Jinx strolled down the street, well more like down the middle of a busy highway.
Cars roared past her as she walked. Some cars headed straight for her, but they didn't get very far. Jinx jumped into the air and landed on top of them. Only jumping off once the concrete under said car gave way and it fell onto the road below. She kept walking, now weaving through the all the cars.
When Jinx got to the end, she happily jumped onto the sidewalk and kept walking. Not bothering to look back at the mess of cars all smashed together on the highway.
Stepping on cracks, walking under ladders, crossing every path she went through with a black cat, breaking abandoned mirrors that were in the alleyways. Oh yes, she was a very unlucky girl, but that didn't stop her. Jinx could be the poorest person or the worst murder in history, but she wasn't. In fact, she was probably the luckiest person in the whole universe. In all of heaven and hell. In history.
"I manipulate luck, sister. Of course I'll get out. Even if it kills me again, I'll get out. And I'll return." Jinx had told her sister before leaving. "With that Angel's wings."
It started to rain, but even if Jinx wanted shelter, she didn't have it. She roamed the streets, causing trouble and bad luck for anyone she liked.
Jinx started to laugh, she sounded like a madman. No one was around, just lots of trees. So nothing was that funny. But something was unbelievable. Jinx had found it, the secret entrance to the temple.

"Wow! So the whole ship is ran by skeletons?" Lane asked, watching as the skeletons prepared the ship for the on coming storm.
"Yep, it is called the Winged Skeleton after all. " Echo said.
"Shouldn't you be in the crow nest?" Ty asked.
"In this storm?!" Echo yelled. "Heck, if I didn't know better I'd probably say this isn't the place to be for a storm anyway."
"Wait, it isn't safe here." Lane questioned.
Echo and Ty froze. Echo came around first. "It's totally safe! You have an Angel here and my powers will block us from the storm."
"Then get to it, Caption." Ty said.
