"...but I don't know if I can trust you again. Can you promise that there will be no more secrets?" I question. "Yes. I can promise you that. I love you more than anybody in the world." josh whispers sweetly. I smile at him. I am so lucky to have him. On that note, we start to his car so I can get home and out of these wet clothing. Now I'm off to LA to follow my dreams.
2 days later...
Josh is still here with me. I hear my alarm go off like it did on the morning I went to LA. Again, I turn over and whack it until the annoying sound stops echoing in the room. Heavily I turn over and start to nestle in back to sleep. I have been so tired lately. Last night I packed until midnight and the night before I had prom. Josh had stayed with me that night and helped me plan my year stay in California. Mom is sad to see me go but she knows that I'm doing what I love.
Ten minutes later I feel hands shaking me awake. I yell at the anonymous human but they don't leave me alone. Slowly my eyelids peel open to see two big hazel stating back at me. "It's you." I mumble in a raspy voice.
"Good morning, beautiful. I have hot chocolate here waiting for you." Josh whispers knowing that hot chocolate always gets me pepped up. Automatically, my spirits rise and I my body does too. Josh hands me a mug as he sits on my bed. Chocolate wafts through the air making my mouth water.
"How did you get in?" I asked.
"Your mom let me in and told me to wake you up." He smirks.
"Oh. Okay." I say cheerfully taking a sip from the mug.
"Hey. Did you forgot something this morning?" Josh asks curiously.
"No don't think so. My bags are packs. I have my outfit ready for the flight. my tickets are ready in my purse..." I trail off laughing. I know what I forgot. I forgot to kiss him this morning.
"Do I have to?" I ask being silly.
"Absolutely. I won't let you go until you do." He yells.
" You'll have to catch me first. " I then get out my bed and I'm about to finally get out my room until Josh grabs me and throws me over his shoulder.
"Let me go!" I scream waking up the whole neighborhood.
"Nope." He says simply while throwing me on my bed. I push myself up and sit on the side of my bed facing Josh. He's standing in front of me trying to look sad. All I can do is laugh. A smile peeks it's way through his lips.
"Come here." I say waving him over. Josh shuffles over and sits down best to me. I stand up and plop myself on his lap. Carefully grabbing his face I take it and move it to the same level as mine. Our hazel eyes meet. Its only us in the world.
"I love you, Ann Hills." Josh whispers.
" No. I love you, Josh Hutcherson." I whisper back. We both smile and laugh. At the same time, we lean in and give each other a sweet kiss on the lips. When we pull away, I see that Josh is satisfied.
"Thank you for that. Now I think I forgot something." He breathes holding one finger up to his chin.
"What might that be?" I ask.
"This." Josh yells jumping on me and starts tickling everywhere. Aghhhh. He knows I hate when he does this. I try fight back but it's no use. He's much stronger than me.
" Josh, stop. We need to get to the airport. We'll miss our flight if you..." I'm stopped by a sudden kiss. He hold it there for a minute. Once he stops, he runs away and goes downstairs. I get up and run into my closet. In a minute or two I'm ready for the day. With my black leggings and long lilac colored tunic on, I grab my bag with everything I need and my luggage. Practically almost killing myself, I make it down the stairs. With extremely sad goodbyes to my parents, Josh and I drive to the airport and finally get on our way to L.A. Our journey has begun.
