I sat inside the doctor's office nervous as hell , I know Kendrick wanted me to stay calm but I just couldn't help it. Kendrick rubbed my hand and it helped ease my nerves a bit " Brooklyn Adames Dr.Lopez is ready to see you" my nurse Emily smiled at me. I let out a low sigh and began the process to stand up thank God for Kendrick he helped me up which made it easier. " let's see how much you gained" Emily giggled I laughed her off " girl I hope I didn't gain too much this baby is kicking my ass " I slowly stepped onto the scale and closed my eyes I didn't won't to see those hideous numbers on the scale. " 142.3 , that's not too bad you have only gained 20 pounds since your first doctor's appointment . Not too bad?! I look like a fucking whale I never weighed over 130 pounds in my entire life not even with Josiah and that's the crazy part I thought. He smiled and gripped his chart tightly before he sat it onto the counter he shook Kendricks hand before walking over to me. " how are you feeling today Brooklyn" he asked while rolling up his sleeves before he washed his hands.
