Opening my weary eyes I realised that I was no longer laying with Carter in his room. I was in the trunk of a moving car.
I tried to scream but it was muffled because I had thick, sticky duck tape around my mouth. Then I saw that my arms and legs had been tied up with ropes. When I was younger Dean had taught me a safety trick, if someone tapes your mouth, you should stretch your lips.
And if that doesn't work, Dean said I should lick the tape.
So I did. It tasted disgusting. But what did I expect?
After a while the tape dropped off.
"Now For The Ropes"
I whispered, making sure the people up front couldn't hear me.
I searched the dark trunk for anything sharp.
There was a few books and pens. But there was nothing with a pointed end or side.
Trying my hardest, I lifted my arms to the side of the trunk. Maybe I could saw off the ropes using the sharp edge of the car.
It hurt a lot and I kept cutting myself as the car went over speed bumps. My wrists were sore but it worked. The ropes gave in and finally dropped off of my arms.
Reaching down to my legs I carefully untied them. Now I was free, but I still couldn't get out. The trunk was locked tight.
I decided that I'd wait to see who had kidnapped me before I make any sudden choices.
It was a long ride. All I could hear was the faint sound of the radio playing. I hadn't heard music in ages. It relaxed me.
When the car finally stopped I sat up. Whoever had taken me would probably be mad at me if they saw I had gotten lose.
It didn't matter though. Atleast now I could fight if I had to.
Footsteps padded over to the trunk.
The trunk was flooded by bright, cold daylight and two large figures.
"How'd She Get Lose?"
"We Have To Watch Out For This One"
They reached down to grab me.
"Where Am I?"
"You've Been Requested By Our Leader Ma'am"
The other figure laughed. It was a deep and wheezy sort of laugh.
"Who's Your Leader?"
One of the figures reached down to grab me again. I quickly grabbed his arm and twisted it around, causing him to shoot back in pain.
The other tried to snatch me but I kicked him in the stomach and got out of the car.
Grabbing the ropes in the trunk I tied up one of the men.
He was pale and bald. His skin was red and grazed all over.
The other was dark and lanky. His black, scabby skin was in worse condition. He had scars and wounds up both of his arms.
When he other guy tried to push himself up I kicked him back down and stood on him, to make sure he wouldn't escape.
"Where Am I?"
"She's Tough, No Wonder He Wanted Her" the darker man said to his friend.
"Who?"
The other man was now fully tied up and handcuffed to the car.
"Our Leader"
I pulled the darker man to his feet and look out my pocket knife.
"You Are My Hostage. Take Me To The One In Charge"
"Yes Ma'am"
He was taller than me so I had to tightly hold onto his shoulders.
I was lead into a modern, glass building with white marble floors and a spiral stair case.
The building was swarming with people all in lab coats or work clothes. They looked horrified when they saw me holding the man hostage.
One woman ran over to us, but made sure to keep her distance.
"Harold What's Going On?"
The woman was short and chubby. She had shoulder length hair and was wearing a long black dress.
"I'll Explain Later. Up To The Second Floor"
He directed me as we walked away from the lady.
"Who's She?"
"My Friend, Her Names Lorain"
I nodded.
When we reached the second floor he lead me into an office.
"Sir. She's Here"
The office was wide and clean. There was oak furniture and white walls.
At the desk sat a man. He was turned around and facing out of the window, I couldn't see his face.
"You Can Go Now Harold"
His voice was posh and sharp.
"Sir.. I Can't"
The man turned around to see me with a knife against Harold's neck.
He man stood up.
He was a tall guy, around his 40's. Thick, black hair fell over his eyes and his tanned white skin showed his many wrinkles. He looked confused.
"Well Well Well. Riley, Why Don't You Let Him Go-"
"One Step Closer And He Dies"
The man stopped walking.
He put up his hands and backed up towards his desk.
"Why Am I Here?"
"This Is Why. You're Tough, You're Vicious, You're Determined Riley"
"How Do You Know My Name?"
"A Little Bird Told Me"
His tone changed, he was mocking me. Brushing his hair out of his face I saw he only had one eye. I had to stop my jaw from hanging in shock.
"Let Him Go Riley" he commanded.
"Where Am I?" I asked.
"You're Home Sweetheart"
He stepped closer to me.
The voice he spoke in made me angry.
"Don't Flipping Call Me That You Pervert. Move Away From Me"
He stepped closer.
"But You're Mine Now Riley"
"No I'm Not" I spat.
"I'll take good care of you"
He rubbed my shoulder. I felt sick. My stomach turned and I just wanted to leave.
"I'll Kill Him."
I moved the knife into Harold's neck and stared coldly at the twisted man.
He laughed.
"Oh But You Won't. Or We'll Kill Carter"
