"Ohh Then What Happened?"
"He Hurried Away"
"Seriously? What A Wimp"
"Hey, Watch It"
"Sorry. I'm Just Saying. If I Walked In On That, I'd Pull You Away"
I let a laugh slip out of my mouth and I continued to plait Dawns hair.
"So Did You Kiss Him?"
"Ew No Way. I Don't Even Know What I Was Thinking"
"He's Nice. I Don't Blame You"
I shrugged.
"Have You Spoken To Him?"
"No Way." She gasped.
"You Should. I'm Sure You Two Would Be Great.. Friends"
"Yeah Right. Come On Riley"
I tied a hair band at the end of her long plait.
"All Done"
She waltzed over to her mirror.
Dawn smiled, she looked beautiful.
"Now I Need The Perfect Outfit"
"I'm So Proud Of You" I squealed.
"Thanks Bestie"
We looked through her wardrobe, she had so many clothes. I had found the perfect dress.
"A Dress?!" She practically screamed.
"You'll Look Great Dawn"
She rolled her eyes and took it from my hands.
It was a knee-length, navy blue dress which had long, thin sleeves. Dawn wore black heels and a dark blue headband.
She looked stunning.
"I Can't Believe I'm Getting This Award Man"
"You Deserve It. You Work Really Hard"
She tried her best to hide her smile.
"We Should Get You Dressed"
"I Am Dressed"
I stared down at my sweat pants and trainers.
"You're Going To An Award Ceremony. Not A Drugs Fest"
She pulled me into my room and rummaged through my clothes.
"This One!"
Dawn handed me a purple, long dress which felt like silk.
"Really?"
She continued to chose dark heels and a matching hair-bow.
"Dawn-"
"Go Get Dressed. We Gotta Leave Soon"
After I was ready we headed down to the main hall.
Everyone was dressed to a ten.
Me and Dawn stuck together like glue, there were so many people and it scared us both.
"Riley.."
I saw Nightmare gawping at Dawn.
"Oh Look At That. Lila Needs Some Help, I Should Go"
"Riley!" Dawn shouted after me.
I winked at them and shimmied away.
I watched from afar as Nightmare and Dawn laughed.
I could barely hear them.
"Really?" Nightmare awed.
"Yeah. It's Kinda My Thing"
"That's Quite Astounding"
"Thanks. Nobody's Really Said That Before" Dawn began blushing.
"Oh Darling, I'm Not Nobody"
It seemed like they were really hitting it off well.
I stood at the food table and watched everyone else dancing.
Lila and Taylor were with a pair of twin boys. They motioned for me to come and dance but I shook my head.
Everything seemed so perfect.
"Hey, Riley Right?"
"It Depends, Who Are You?"
A tall boy stood in front of me. His dark brown hair was short and straight. He had matching brown eyes and wore an all black suit.
"I'm Ashton. Sorry. I'm Sort Of New. My Friends Said You're The Most Important Person Round Here"
"I'm Not. But I'm Flattered. When Did You Get Here?"
"Actually Just Last Night"
"Really?"
He was that new? I sipped on my drink before I turned back to face him.
"Yeah.-"
He was cut off by the sound of Mr.Clover on the mic.
"Ladies And Gentlemen, Introducing... Dawn Jennings!"
Dawn elegantly stepped onto the stage. She blushed as she grabbed the mic.
"This Is Everything To Me. I'd Just Like To Say Thank-You. I Really Worked Hard To Get This-"
The whole ceremony was interrupted by screams from outside.
"GET DOWN GET DOWN"
Oh no.
"WERE ARMED AND READY TO FIRE"
I watched as Dawn stumbled off of the stage and into Nightmares arms. It was chaotic, everyone ran around like crazy. Crashes and sounds of obstruction rang through out the air.
Everything was going so well. Something always had to ruin it.
Carter paced quickly over to me.
"Riles Come On" he shouted.
"Carter I-" I began.
"No. I'm Not Losing You."
He lifted me over his shoulder and carried me away.
