Chapter 5

I walked outside and saw Eric's car. I saw him walk out of the car and open the door for me. I sat down.
"Wow you look beautiful today"
Eric said.
"Thank you"
I blushed.
"No problem"
"So where are we heading?"
I asked. But I knew I probably wouldn't get an answer. Every guy usually does that, well in the movies I've seen.
"It's a surprise"
he smirked.

"Ok, keep your eyes closed"
Eric said as he guided me through some place. He still hasn't told me where we are, and I never bothered to guess, because that would get us to nowhere.
"Are we there yet?"
I asked.
"Almost....... And we're here!"
He gently pulled off my blind fold and gasped I focused my vision on the scenery above me. It was the most beautiful place id probably ever seen. It was a lake with a little bridges going over the top, and next to it was a picnic table with a candlelight dinner, it looked like a scene from a movie.
"It's.....it's beautiful!"
I stuttered.
"So you want to eat?"
He asked.
"Sure"
He then grabbed my hand and guided me to the table. The whole time I kept thinking is this really happening? But yes it was, and I wondered if Eric could hear my heart pounding out of excitement.

After we had our candlelight dinner, we decided just to just take in the scenery.
We sat down on a bench swing and just talked.
"So how did you find this place?" I asked.
"Well, my dad told me that this is the place where my mom fell in love with him, so I thought the magic would work with me too."
He winked.
I laughed.
