The next couple of weeks went by fast and soon enough it was time for my parents to leave. The day of there flight I literally had to push them out of there door..

it was Friday and are exams had finally come to an end, meaning prom was really close. Most girls in my school had already made preparations, while I hadn't even gone dress shopping.

To matters worse I was feeling well at all. I have had a huge headache all day and I think I have a fever. didn't tell Eric because he had a football game today and i didn't want to bother him.

Right now I'm sitting in My last class , not paying attention to whatever the teacher was talking about.

I looked up to the board to try and understand what my teacher was blabbing on about, until I felt something hit my back.

I turned around to see Cole giving me a smile. I glanced to the floor to see a crumpled piece of paper. I picked it up and folded it out,

U don't look too good today are you ok?

I turned the paper over and wrote.

Nope, I've had a headache all day and i think i might have a fever

I threw the paper back towards Cole.

The bell rang and I nearly ran out the door. I grabbed my backpack from my locker and headed straight for the car.

I unlocked my car and drove all the way home.

I locked the door and dropped my backpack on the floor and collapsed on the couch.

I guess I fell asleep right then and there because the next thing I remember is waking up to the sound of the doorbell

I slowly walked to the door.

I opened it to see Cole standing there with a bag of groceries and another filled with movies. The next thing I knew Cole walked past me and entered my house.

"Why are you here Cole?"

I asked confused.

"well you told me you were sick so I...er my mom insisted that i should stay here with you until you get better."

he replied.

"And how do you insist on making me feel better?"

I asked.

"well right now i'm going to make your favorite, Chicken noodle soup"

"No Way Cole you know how to cook Chicken Noodle soup!?"

i asked surprised.

"Yeah, i learned in California."

he replied.

"Wow Cole your future girlfriend is one lucky girl!"

I said laughing.

after a pause of silence Cole replied.

"yeah"

After Cole made me some delicious soup, we decided to put on Ride Along, but neither one of us was paying attention to the movie we were too busy joking around and messing with each other.

"Thanks for coming today Cole, but i'm feeling much better now you don't have to stay"

"Nope i'm staying until you are one hundred percent ok."

he replied.

"thanks MOM but i'm ok, i'm pretty sure if i take some Advil ill be fine."

Cole looked at me and put his hand on my forehead.

"Nope you still seem to have a temperature."

he replied.

I rolled my eyes.

"So Cole have You asked a girl to prom yet?"

I asked.

"No, I don't even know if i should go it honestly seems boring to me."

Cole replied.

"What? it's one of the biggest events of the year, plus i bet some girls are just dying to be with you!"

I laughed.

"So what about you, have you made your preparations."

Cole asked changing the subject.

"No not really I haven't had time too even though half of the girls in school have."

I said with a shrug.

"Do you want to go now?"

Cole asked suddenly.

"Really?"

I asked.

"Yeah I mean neither one of us is watching the movie but if your too sick then yo-"

"Nope i'm feeling better lets go!"

I said getting up quickly,

"Ok" Cole said laughing.
