Chapter 19

"HE KISSED YOU?!"
Melanie shouted as I drove away from her house to our boring school.
"Yup" I said smiling.

"OMG I KNEW IT, HE DOES LOVE YOU!"
She exclaimed.

I smiled thinking about yesterday.
"Then he asked me to be his girlfriend."
I said.

Melanie gasped.
"YES I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME!"
She said.

I laughed.
"Well none of this would've happened if it wasn't for you Melanie, you gave me the courage I needed to talk to him, thanks Mel , you're an amazing friend."
I said.

"I know, I'm awesome"

She said with a hair flip.
"I'm Just kidding, your welcome"
She said with a chuckle.

Melanie's P.O.V
"Melanie!"
I turned around to face the person who kept calling my name. I turned and saw Eric.

Ugh that piece of trash.

"What do you want jer- I mean Eric."

Hopefully he didn't catch that.

"Look I know you probably hate me and I'm sorry, ok I already apologized to Jade, but I need a favor."

I crossed my arms over my chest,
"what makes you think I'll help you?"

"Please, I just need you to tell Jade that I'm sorry and I really want her back."

I scoffed.
"I don't think you know but she doesn't want you back, heck she has someone way better."

I watched his expression fall until he looked somewhat angry.

"Plus you not really worth it, considering you didn't have enough guts to properly ask her out." I said with a shrug.

with that I turned and walked away.

Jade's P.O.V.

After four long class periods I waited outside Melanie's last class to walk with her to lunch.

I pulled out my phone to text Cole. When all of a sudden I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist. I immediately recognized them.

"Hey Jade."
Cole said.
"Hey I forgot to tell you, my parents are coming home today."
"I know."
Cole replied. I turned to look at him
"Wait, how?"
I asked.
"My mom told me because she talked to your mom yesterday"
He answered.
"Wait do your parents know that we're dating?"
I asked.
"No I haven't told them yet, you?"
"No, not yet." I answered.

"Aww you guys are so cute together."

I looked up to see Melanie with a huge grin on her face.
"I totally ship it." She said with a smile. Cole Chuckled.
"Oh btw Jade should I meet up at your place on Friday?"
Melanie asked all of a sudden.
"Wait what's Friday?"

I felt like I was forgetting something.

"Are you serious?.. It's prom!"

Oh that's what I was forgetting.

"Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about that!"
"How can you forget about Prom?! Aren't you and Cole going?"
She asked.

I looked at Cole
I really didn't know if Cole was going or not, but I just assumed we were.

"Of course we're going."
Cole told Melanie before looking at me and giving me a smile.

"Well I guess I'll see you guys later." Cole said but before I could say anything Cole leaned in and gave me a quick kiss. I my cheeks immediately heat up and Cole noticed my blushing and laughed.

I set the plates  down on the table and walked to the door. My parents invited Cole's family for dinner. We still hadn't told our parents about our relationship but We're hoping to tell them today.
