I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock. When I remembered what happened yesterday, it was one of the best days of my life.i smiled as I got up and got ready for a very boring day of school.

We had a couple of minutes till the bell so I told Melanie about everything that had happened. Starting from the time Cole came over till Eric and My date.
Melanie's looked at me with a confused face, yet she seemed happy.
"Jade do you ever get the feeling that Cole might like you?"
I was really confused when Melanie asked me this. One, I stopped thinking about Cole that way a Long time ago. And plus I'm dating someone.
"Melanie you know I've stopped thinking about Cole that way, and besides I'm dating Eric"
I blushed at the thought.
"Oooohhh I forgot your already Dating someone"
Melanie said teasingly while putting emphasis on the word dating.
I laughed.

I was at my locker getting my lunch kit out when I heard fast footsteps coming forward. I turned around and was surprised to see Melanie running down the hall towards me. Until she finally stopped at my locker. She was out out breath
"Breathe Melanie Breathe "
I laughed.
"OMG YOU'll NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED"
She shouted.
"OMG WHAT HAPPENED"
I said trying to match her tone.
" So when I walked in to First period Biology, I saw that Mrs. Perez was assigning lab partners, and I was hoping it would be one of my friends , but it was Blake. So then when we were working he stopped in the middle of the lab and said
"Melanie I need to ask you something" and I said " yeah" then he said
" Melanie will you go out with me?"
She squealed. I have no idea how long that girl can go without breathing.
"OH MY GOODNESS IM SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU" I shouted back. By now everyone in the hall was staring our way.
"What, love is something to be happy about!" I said to them
Melanie laughed and said
"Hey maybe we can go on a double date"
She suggested
"That would be funny"
I replied.

The bell rang and it was time to leave.
Melanie and I were gathering our things when I was brought into a conversation by one of the most popular girls in school Jessica
"Hey Guys!"
She greeted.
"Hey"
Melanie and I said in unison.
"So I'm having a party Saturday night and I was wondering if you guys would like to come?"
"Um sure thanks"
I said.
"Yeah thanks"
Melanie said back.
"Bye"
Jessica said.
"Bye"
well, I thought the only problem is that how will I convince my parents.
