Chapter 10

Percy pov

I said my good buys to the flock and flew as fast as I could to New York. Which was on the whole other side of the country? It took me three days but I finally made it. I thought about first going to camp half blood but that's when I could feel my powers wanting to flare up again. That decided it. I needed to go to Mt. Olympus.

~Mt. Olympus~

I was walking into the lobby of the Empire state building when all of a sudden my Hades powers took over. I fell into the nearest shadow and when I came out I was in the elevator. I pressed the button and the elevator started rising.

Music started playing over the intercom

"Risin' up, back on the street

Did my time, took my chances

Went the distance

Now I'm back on my feet

Just a man and his will to survive..."

"ugh I hate this song" I mumbled to myself. And just like that a wave of electricity surged through me and the music shut off. "huh I guess having the power of Zeus isn't all bad."

Almost in a trance I stumbled into the throne room. my powers were making me weaker and weaker. I saw all the gods sitting there. Just a few more steps were my last thoughts before I blacked out.
