Happy Labor Day(:
Sammie to the side.

"Abi!"
"Hey kiddo," I smiled hugging my sister. I ruffled up her hair.
"Hey, I know your happy to see me but I'm still a girl." She chuckled combing her straight hair with her fingers. I smiled with the memory of me teaching her how to use a straighter so shed could straighten it for a dance. Her hair is naturally curly like our Dads, while mine is towards the straighter side with Mums. She was getting really frustrated. I gave on and just straightened it for her. She eventually learned.
"So how was the-"
"Ni!" She cut me off and left our embrace to attack Niall in a hug.
"Hey short stack," he smiled. She pouted up at him and he just chuckled.
We all walked to my car. Niall slid into the passenger seat, while Sammie jumped in the back.
"How was the retreat?" I finally got out the question as I pulled into the busy street.
"It was fun."
Niall glanced over at me and I did the same to him. Sammie always has something to say about anything and everything. She goes into detail. Extreme detail.
I took a quick look at her through the rear view mirror. There was a slight blush creeping upon her cheeks as she looked down at her twiddling thumbs. I pulled into "Freezes" and parked the car.
"Sam?" I asked.
"Hmm?" She looked up at me.
"What's got you blushin'?" Niall's asked for me. Sammie looked out the window and blushed harder.
"Ehgitissed." She mumbled.
"What?"
"Ehgirtissed." She mumbled a little louder.
"What was that?"
"I got kissed." She said letting out a long sigh.
"What!" Niall exclaimed.
"Don't make me repeat it!"
"What's his name? When did it happen? How did you meet?" I asked excited about my little sisters very first kiss. Sammie tells me everything, yet I've never heard anything about her love life. I wasn't even sure she actually had one.
"Your such a girl," Niall snorted giving me a friendly punch on my arm. Friendly. I bit my lip to hold up my smile.
"His name is Seth. He's my age and goes to my school. I've seen him around at the mall and school a couple of times. He was my buddy for the buddy system. We had to go on a picture scavenger hunt, and we had gone to find some bridge, and we got lost. You know how I am. I kept babbling and overreacting about how we would get lost and they would never find us and we would never see our families ever again. Then he just kissed me." She blushed.
"Awh." Niall cooed.
"Who's the girl now?" I gave him a sideways smirk.
"I'm aloud to have feelings!" He fake scoffed.
"Anyways, Sammie! That's great!" I bloomed.
"Eh. I'm not so sure." She said looking down at her hands. "We didn't really speak of it. I'm not sure if he wanted to kiss me, like he likes me, or if he just wanted me to shut up."
"I don't think that's true." I said shaking my head. "Nobody can just kiss you just to shut you up. There has to be some sort of feelings there."
"I don't know Abi. It's possible." Niall said.
"No I don't think so. It would just make me want an explanation of the kiss and talk more. I've seen it in movies and read it in books but its always staged. That doesn't actually happen in life. In fact-"
No.
I'm dreaming.
Right?
A pair of wet, warm, electric lips met mines. Niall's eyes were squeezed shut. My were wide from shock but eventually I closed them and kissed back. His thumb caressed my cheek going with the soft sound of Ed Sheeran that was playing on the radio.
He slowly pulled away after a couple of seconds. Or minutes. I don't know. It felt like time was halted to a screeching stop.
He took a deep breath. "See?"
I slowly nodded bewildered.
"Now lets go get ice cream!" He squealed like a five year old undoing his seatbelt.
I looked back at Sammie who at the same look as me.
