It was almost semestral break when Michael unexpectedly arrived. At first I could not believe because when Chelsea reported it to me, she seemed not serious about it. She always made fun of me.But my heart was leaping with joy. I knew he'd make time to see me.

That day was Thursday, my last examination day. I tried not to be distracted with the thought of his arrival. Good thing..my last exam was just a minor subject. I took the exam without delay, and with so much excitement I hurried to our dorm.

Inside our room, I could not stop being restless. Did he come to see me? It did not matter to me. What matters to me that time, he arrived and he's just in the campus and I have the chance to see him.

That was already  late afternoon, when my sister came in our room and happily told me,

" Angel, Michael was sending his regards for  you."Her eyes were teasing.

"Oh, really? Why is he here?" I said pretending to be busy with my things.

"He said he needs to visit his aunt in CDO, but I think he must see first Danny before he goes there."

I wanted to correct her and say, he wanted to see me first.. I was smiling at my own thoughts..

"What else did you talk about? Did he ask you about me?"

"Yeah. Don't worry, he must  be on his way now to see you."

I looked at my sister to see if she's serious.

"Are you serious?"

Without waiting for her reply I hurried to the washroom to wash my face and put powder.
My heart tightened; I could hardly breathe, I did not know what to feel then.

Later on, the assistant dean came and announced that he was at the lobby. I went out to meet him, trying my best to act normal and hoping my senses would cooperate.

"Hi." He said with a smile on his face and he looked straight into my eyes.

"Hi. Long time no see."I smiled, waiting for him to reach my hand.

"Are you not going to ask what brought me here?"

"No need to know, you'll give the same answer."

I was relieved he did not shake my hand, I was sure my hands were cold.

"No, I have a different answer?"He was grinning at me.

" Okay, what brought you here?" I asked.

"My socks and my shoes."He was holding his laughter.

"Haha" I glared at him in a low voice. "The worst joke ever."

He laughed and continued, "Seriously, my heart brought me here."

I did not say a word. What did he just say? My heart fell.

I looked at him and he was still smiling. Oh, I missed that smile. How I wish I could tell him that.

Probably he became uneasy when I was silent for awhile. He asked rubbing his neck, "Are you okay, Angel?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. You tell me, how are you?"

"Same as usual. Danny begged me..he wants to finish his course, he said he will take my place in the house for mom and dad after he graduates."

"Oh, I see, you're not only a good son but a good brother too."

"Is that so? I'll take that as a compliment and I thank you...and look at me, remember? I promised you that I would eat and rest well."

I blushed upon hearing those words and said, "Yeah, you look better than the last time you were here."
